When i was young the cultivating was done with a Farmall H. I enjoyed it, i have my Grandpa’s H and found a cultivator for it. Would like to get it mounted and have something to cultivate.

I bought a fleetstar 201OA at an an auction a few years ago. It was a near by county fire dept. water tanker. The tank was rusted out in the tank bottom, but truck was nice. Bidding started at $50, a couple of guys ran it up to $200 than bidding stopped at$200. I bid $250 and got the truck. I used it for tree trimming around the farm. Drive it under a tree with a 8 foot ladder and trim high. I sold it to a man who needed the engine for a nice profit! Nice truck memory. Why didn't the seller give it a good wash job?

Buying our own mixer (used) was one of the best things we ever did in our cattle operation while I was growing up. Hauling ear corn to town loading and unloading it by hand was a ton of work. Not many mills custom grind feed anymore, if you are going to raise cattle making your own feed is almost a must. Used mixers can be found at all kinds of prices. I would like to do it again.
