Never had the PS vita, my younger brother did have one back then. I was rarely at home. Was going through my party rebel stage as a skateboarder back then. My wife has the previous Xbox one S she got from a pawn shop a few months ago. She wanted to play fable and yes she buys the games!

Game devs should just focus on xbox series x and stop releasing a version for the series s if it has them ditching the entire platform all together.

i have a series S but i wouldn't be fussed if they bin it off for the higher end games and have the release on series X only, i'll grab a Series X or PS5 ready for GTA 6, i'm not a huge console gamer, i keep up with it, but preferably play on PC

Xbox Series S different specs with Series X already gave developers a headache, how about Xbox handheld ? Same with Playstation handheld's PSP2 ? They is a reason why Nintendo only focus on 1 spec console

Playstation needs a handheld that can play PS4 games at 1080p and it will be a huge success and when they make new games for the handheld to be released for PS4 too this will make then insane Money cause the games will be playable on all consoles and PS4 has so many users and it's not dying anytime soon

Well, isn't Playstation doing the same thing with the ps5 Pro and standard versions? I would say Xbox needs to change their policy and allow series X only games. They could have upgraded the Series S with better Ram, but its Xbox. Microsoft could discontinue the current Series S and turn it into a handheld next gen.

As a series X owner I understand that devs dont have resources to develop for the s and x so they often just optimize for the S which means the X versions are often worse than the PS5 version. The S is an aquillies heal. BUT Microsoft only cares about cloud gaming long term so they won't remove the series S requirements.

All these devs for 4 years are telling the truth about the SS but these Xbox fanboy influencers doing damage control. SS with 10 gigs of ram the devs are on a time limit to release the game and MS's policy is BS.

My issue with the PSP / PS Vita has always been the size. I played for 40 minutes on a PSP once and my thumbs hurt, because it's too damn small. They went for even smaller with the Vita. Exactly the opposite direction I would need. The Playstation Portal looks to be a decent size, but I don't actually have use for it at this point in my life. I would no longer find use for a portable console at all, so they've missed their chance with me.

China will be the big market if Wukong, Phantom Blade 0, The Perceiver etc etc is evidence of anything...... not to mention Genshin Impact! A Chinese deved gacha would be perfect for their Vita 2! Pffffffft I WAS ALSO RIGHT about the Series S AS well as the XBX Corp in general!!!! Ive also been saying a PS Vita 2 is likely IF Nintendo is out there proving it! That the Handheld space is healthy!!! Sony have just got to make sure the features are right and up todate!!! Power isnt really a thing anymore..... Sony will no doubt be powerful as well as flexible with a Vita 2, a handheld will most likely be aimed at the Asian and Chinese market! Portables and Mobiles and maybe just hand it all off to the Asians and the Chinese / Japanese to dev for if Sony are smart..... You can software uprezz or whatever the graphics and no doubt it will be a pricey portable but it will be going up against the Switch 2, and Nintendo isnt competing with Power or features etc

Just make a damn portal native with ps5. No need for a ps vita. The Portal is bij far the most comfortable "handheld" I've ever had. All other handhelds just feel extremely uncomfortable in my hands.

PS VITA is awesome, but a bit outdated right now (camera quality, slow download speeds, oversized charger). PS VITA 2 needs to have these things fixed, as well as it needs many well made (preferably unique) first party games, R2 & L2, the ability to SMS/call people, long battery life, an official grip that resembles a dualshock 4 or a dualsense pro controller, applications like youtube, netflix, etc.

Also I doubt they're going to give any PS3 games a performance boost on PS5 they're probably going to run worse than you remember

At best it's only going to be a handful of first party titles and if all you're trying to do is play metal gear solid 4 just wait for the master collection Volume two and hope they don't mess it all up like they did with volume one

When a gaming powerhouse releases a console that has such little power in to its ‘New Generation’ portfolio, you know for a fact that decision was made by the executive team that has next to no experience playing games. They are only driven by supplying more skews for more sales. Yet again, the gaming community knows better than the suits. Who would’ve thought.
