Thank you for your informative video. I spent 1 week in Las Terrenas and took kite lessons in Portillo. It was a better place to learn than Cabarete.

@@kitesurfingdestroyedmylife I'm ready to go again and continue my progression. I was able to get riding in both directions but don't consider myself an independent kiter yet. Do you have suggestions for other warm water destinations you've experienced? Thank you.
@@barrymonteiro8893 best to go again as soon as possible, so now the season is still on in LT. another destination would be Brazil. Aaaand then, we're organizing a kite camp in Peru for the New Year's Eve, join us! Just the water isn't as warm as in LT ;)

I don't know where to start - and I am only 1/3 thru the movie, around DR. Big kudos to biting the bullet, taking the leap, and going on this trip. Working it out and keeping the good vibes thru the Pandemic. Traveling with your kite equipment, cameras, drones, who knows what else. Recording enough footage to make a full length 1:13 movie. Inspiring! Cheers to the Power Couple!

Niestety szkoda że nie wspomnieliście o występujących na spocie wielu rafach. Drugiego dnia siadł wiatr i kilku kitesurferów zostało zniesionych prądem na te rafy. I nie byli to tylko młodzi adepci, bo nawet Łukasz (właściciel polskiej szkółki) srogo się pociął wpływając w głąb zatoki po swoich kursantów 🤷🏻♂️. Podarte latawce, pocięte linki i wiele niegojących się ran skutecznie zniechęciły nas do pływania. Szukamy innych miejsc… :/ Jeśli według Was jest to idealny spot dla początkujących, to ja już wolę Zatokę Pucką . Tak samo nie wieje a znacznie taniej 🤣. A propos: wspomniana suszarka dmuchająca marne 8 knotów od od dwóch tygodni nadaje się do suszenia prania a nie kitesurfingu. Generalnie nie polecamy i spotkaliśmy kilka tak samo jak my rozczarowanych osób na tym spocie. Wszyscy zachęceni do odwiedzenia las Terrenas Waszym filmem…🙄
Z ciekawości, ze sprzetu tylko telefon + gopro + dron, czy mieliście jakąś lepszą kamerę? Wyszło pięknie!

Amazing movie. Did you find any good wind in such hot countries as Costa Rica, Guatamala, and Honduras or is it too hot? The north of Columbia is almost on the same latitude. I see there is footage on YT and some flat spots. Is there too much wild life in Costa Rica? 😅 It's too late to save me from KDML 😂
Hey! Thank you so much 😉 yes, you have kitespot in Costa Rica, it's called Bahia de Salinas. In Honduras - Islas de la Bahia and in Guatemala Lago Atitlan. The wildlife in Costa Rica is absolutely amazing and rich

F*** yeah!! Glad you mentioned that! Most kite videos/movies are about doing tricks in some nice location, and we really think there's way more to kitesurfing than this! This is a way of living, community, and awesome adventures, but also fuck ups!

Nice story... traveled with my wife and 2 kids for 4 months in Thailand june 2022. Corona was just fading out. No tourism... it was the best time ever. Waiting for corona 2.0 😂.

I met this couple when they were in Brazil in 2019. We were neighbours in Cumbuc. Having a blast watching these amazing footages and knowing what they went through in this 1056 days. So inspiring, great work guys. I imagined them watching these movie when they are elderly. For sure it will feel like they lived their best life.

Wow. I have to say, this is one of the best kite/travel videos I have ever seen. I'm sure we will run into you in Paracas when we arrive in three weeks. We can swap stories about the pandemic travels. We were doing something similar with similar good and bad experiences. Mexico, DR, Thailand, Korea, Brazil, Argentina, and Peru next month!
