Something the Exploring series misses in this article, which is hugely important, is the implications of the O5 and Ethics Committee, who were not 'cured' of anything at this point, both being horrified at what they found inside the Human Soul, and agreeing that killing all of Humanity was the most ethical thing to do. That implies that, whatever was latched onto the Human Soul inside the Psychospace was fucking horrific, and terminating ALL of Humanity was a better alternative than letting it do whatever it was intending to.

Well they did say that they found numerous unknown species of plants and items that nobody had ever seen before and something that killed four agents when activated is it that big of a stretch to think that he during his travels came across something anomalous that perhaps did transfer his consciousness into the sea slug but due to his knowledge ending in 1910 that would indicate if such an event happened that that's when it most likely happened because he was kept in the vault beneath that lady's house for God knows how many years so obviously he wouldn't have any knowledge outside of what he already accumulated because he had no access to the outside world at that point

Completely unrelated to the Class of 76 - as you mentioned "History is written by the Victors", there is actually a fantastic SCP with that name: SCP-4011 - and it was already covered by the Exploring Series.

The documents from the Mariana trench and SCP# 7676 are the only other class of 76 SCPs that I know that Exploring Series covered.

The thing a quite madness made has the class of 76 tag on official article so it not a easter egg and this scp does talk about it in the timeline of events in the official page so it not up to interpretation on the base doc plus the thing a quite madness made is written by djkaktus who does alot of the class of 76 including bodies in the water and remembrance tales

The ritual works because it is working. Assigned belief to met the arbitrary criteria of the ritual is the procedures of containing the Deer. It stands because it works and works because it stands. You may call it "self-containing demands of an SCP to distract it permanently in one place with periodic actions". It didn't get you feeling of control over SCP, but "control over SCP" is not but a pride that will lead to failure to contain.

In regards to the whole ignoring / writing off weird things as 'a prank': I believe this is a metaphor about how, especially in small towns / communities, outsiders or people who are deemed to 'not belong' are often ignored in an attempt to ostracize them. The 'underground structure that's built similar to the school' is a metaphor about how secrets and shameful things are buried. And the whole 'no one else being able to have children' thing I interpret to be something that happened afterward: a form of retribution for how the one pregnant girl was treated.

Hey there John, I enjoyed watching your SCP playlist and have a recommendation, if you're fond of Sarkic SCPs and Sarkicism in general; SCP-2408 (Orok's Fall) by TheVolgun shows Sarkic theology through a criminal lens and provides insight and greater lore into the neo-sarkic cults and their criminal record. it's without a doubt one of my favorite Sarkic skips on the wiki and videos from TheVolgun, due to the narration and first-person perspective of one agent's attempt to infiltrate a Sarkic faction. It's honesty, an underrated skip and one I'd highly recommend if you're curious about Sarkicism.

Man, I love the Class of 76 and Syncope symphony. Easily my favorite groups of interest. The stories they tell and imply allow my imagination and head cannon to run wild. Spread the word; they just want to be heard.
