    "We are products of our environment" Actually naww yall create the environment u claim to be products of. Its blk ppl making that environment wut it is. All blks ever do is deny deflect ignore and blame others but there's no accountability ever its always everyone else's fault why they are the way they are smh.

      "Yall create the environment u claim to be products of" It's been well documented, that as soon as Jane & Finch was built in the late 60s/early 70s, crime was already a problem in the area, gangs were already wreaking havoc throughout the place in 1980s back when Jane & Finch was majority European🤣& Italian mafia was around. There's literally a whole Jane & Finch documentary from 1983 on CZcams right now, which showcased the issues that the neighbourhood was facing at the time which still exist in broad day light today (robberies, murders, stabbings, shootings, drugs, gangs, single motherhood, police harassing the locals, poverty etc). You can go ahead and type in "Jane & Finch 1983" and it'll come up. Jane & Finch, is known in Toronto for being one of (if not) the most underfunded, most poverty stricken, & most crime ridden area in the city. The city's own government literally named Jane & Finch as one of the 13 "high priority neighbourhoods" in Toronto back in 2013.

    The world needs more men like this one! Better reporting than most professional pieces I see on TV. I grew up in in a single parent family in community housing. But our building had fantastic pool, with lifeguards. That was a looong time ago. But it saved us kids! Multi racial community was my norm and it was great!! We all swam all day long together; all shades and sizes. The city took care of it all. These kids deserve the SAME. I went to my old building in Scarborough (Lived there from jk to end of grade 8) and when I saw they had filled the pool in, I started to cry. Shocked me. A huge part of our lives. We all slept so well at night cause we were tired! But the joy it brought us and we all felt good about our home, like we were living in nice condo. Very HAPPY memories. I wish - PRAY. - they put a pool in - with proper life guards for these kids too!!! That they restore the pools in all community housing. It truly changed our lives - I’m not kidding!! And the kids enjoyed it soooo much - you never did anything to get kicked out. ;) Anyway - I wish you the best and hope to see you on TV someday. Thanks so much for sharing!! ❤️ Best!!!!

    Welcome to Chicago North. Home of the largest welfare bum population in Canada. This is where the TV show the Wire was based. More gang bangers, drug dealers and waste of spaces than you can count. Some of these people live better than poorer or senior Canadians who struggled their whole lives to raise families, pay taxes and live decent law abiding lives. This area is the result of liberals healing their guilt with free money, medical care and living accommodations because they don't get it. You can't expect tax payers to support your vote for me programs when the same tax payers are struggling to support and protect their families from the very thing you allow to come into Canada and ruin it for all of us. Take care of your own first....we're not that rich that we can become a welfare state..

    I m born and rise in Toronto I think this BS as at the end of the day every one has choices. I also moved from Toronto by age 10 and move back in my 20's in Toronto and it takes the mom and dad and other family members to help take care of the kids. If these kids make bad choices that is on them has not a thing to do with the area they live in

    • @originalrecoil
      @originalrecoil Před 3 lety

      Caught and charged them for what? I don't think charging kids with petty crimes is a solution - especially kids growing up facing discrimination, maybe lack of parental supervision, and poverty. It's gonna give them a criminal record that will prevent them from finding work and set them on the wrong path. and sending them to jail? For what? Shoplifting?

      @@originalrecoil trust me mate you got no idea these kids got some serious stuff on them when got arrested and at the same time adults too knifes is a most common thing maybe an encounter with the law gives them a lifelong lesson.
