I get a lot of shit for the route I took with my rifle, understandable really. I started with a Ruger 5.56 7 years ago, my first AR-15. Since then I've swapped everything, barrel, handguard, furniture, trigger, BCG, buffer spring assembly.... I could have built a whole new rifle, sure. But it's my fuggin rifle and we been together a while. 7 years and a round count that I never thought I'd reach, it's a part of me.

Great vid, I have the same optic on a 16” 556 that I’ve reached out to 1k with this set up. The reticle is more of a min of man reticle, what I would like to see is PA put their Athena BPR Mil in the 2.5-10 for more of a precise aiming point. Other than that it’s a great optic. I was considering getting its big brother since they offer the Athena in that one

1:53 Glad ya mentioned indexing. Precisely why I prefer G17 > G15 magazines ...less likelihood of fumbling with longer fingers! May I ask what configuration you use for a spare, EDC concealed, mag? I've found the extended baseplates a lil' cumbersome to just drop in a pocket or neomag.
