Any crush type weapon will max hit the Husks not just the Ham joint, but the Ham joint is the fastest option. Although it does require a high strength level and decent +str bonuses on gear. If you don't have the minimum setup I used in this guide then you can always just Bludgeon or Inq mace them and it would do just fine.

The crazy part is the "official speedrun on the wiki" trys to say use only 3 lol, agreed there is a element of rng. I'd suggest either and/or both Option 1) Get 2-3 more food and turn them into corrupted paddle fish (karamb equivalents) so you have tick eats to help compensate for acquiring/using more food and losing ticks etc. Option 2) Don't Veng and take that big hit at the start on yourself and just keep your dps up.

It's RNG abuse. You can't do consistent speedruns like you can with regular kills, you have to preform consistently and have the patience to wait for the good RNG while dying over and over.

@@koek4539 That's the point. Speed runs are not meant to be consistent. You can get PBs and WR only when your highest performance meets highest DPS luck. The bigger the sample the more chances you have to go lower.

At :25 I said "If he's not on pray melee then go ahead and reset." I always go for bow or staff on the speedrun and just reset until Hunleff is on protect from melee.

Finally got a few kills under my belt and it's all thanks to your guides, mate. Seriously, well done and thank you again!

No ok so if you have to eat the best thing to do is try to eat right after you click to move to a spot to minimize dps loss. Also optionally but time consuming you can make the corrupted paddlefish which function like karambwan and you can tick eat those with a paddle fish for a total of a 36 heal.

No I count in my head 1-5 attacks, then my 1 bow or melee hit. Back when I first learned Hunleff a few years ago it was a lot harder they've added sounds to when he changes attacks over the past year or so. If your struggling with his attacks turn your volume up more so you can hear him change attack styles.

Bow can get it but it's hits felt like they have a bigger variable, where magic is more consistent from my experiences.

It's always 5 hits with your perfected staff followed by 1 hit with sceptre or bow. It's called 5-1 so its always 5 mage into 1 sceptre hit or 5 mage into 1 bow shot.

I wouldn't bother with a fang I'd imagine the dps would be pretty bad.

I highly suggest craws but if you want to do it without it then just blowpipe the Sleepwalkers. Although the timing will be much less forgiving with blowpipe it will just take practice.

Always bring ward if Sang/Trident is my suggestion unless your really struggling you can lose it as a switch.

Hello Plastic, a good way to always kill the 4 sleepwalkers is to kill 1st one with staff due to the long range then blow pipe the other 3. Just make sure you're set to rapid on BP and don't miss a tick on xp drops

Talk about a challenge, the real issue would be trying to get past those parasites. Tbh I'm not even sure if it's possible with 1 Attack tier weapons, even if you have 99 Strength.

It does the curse for 5 attacks, he prayed a curse prayer on the 6th attack when the phase was already over

Husks pretty much any crush wep ham joints the fastest but inq mace or bludgeon both work fine. Also for sleepwalkers 3/4, I find myself scything the last one alot but any melee wep will do.

@Synthetick I've been doing a bit of looking into it before your reply for the sake of not spending 2.6m on a weapon that I'll only use here while also being able to keep the 3 tick weapon. Goblin paint cannon is identical stats for the ham joint. You only lose out on the ability to have a defender equipped as it's 2h. It seems like a great option for only 225 gold at the diango shop.

@@adamreinhard7252 Yeah its cheaper ofc but I only suggested bludgeon cause you can save yourself trouble switching weps, makes it easier to learn. But if your going for speed just use the rpg if you want I used it in my sub 1 mil phosani vid.

Good hope it helps you, I try to make things simple and not over complicate them. All you really need is a solid base example then just practice it.

You need to pray range or mage(depending on what he's attacking with) until the attack launches. 1 tick after it's in the air you switch to redemption afterwards, so it makes your redemp proc based off the chip damage. It will just take some practice to get used to the timing.

Watched it, yep agree with every step, especially people take note of the hunllef fight and the pathing there, that was perfect!

I just had this weird idea of always wanting to kill him with Harm orb ever since I got it as a drop lol. Although if you wanna try mage Inferno I'd suggest just Tumeken him, also if you kill him with Tumeken it still counts for the Budget Setup CA.

The Inferno ones will really bring your overall game ability up, it will be a good place to work on at some point. I'm currently working on bumping up to ToA 600's at 510 atm, Akkha with Feeling Special/Double Trouble can be so fun sometimes. 😂
