Primrose cottage, dimensions, little house needleworks, and more :)
Midnight Snowman was a dimensions stocking I did for my oldest son in 2002. Neat to see they made it a regular pattern too.
Love your finishes and your progress on your wips. Happy stitching!
You’ve done a great job on finishing your Christmas ornaments!!! ❤️🎄💚
Loved watching you
Thank you so much!
First time watching and I love your passion. Your projects are really sweet and I like your Christmas finishes. I recently found (on Amazon) sticky backed felt pieces that I now use to finish the backs of my framed pieces. The pack comes in a great variety of colours and they're so easy to use, just an idea I thought I'd pass on. Happy stitching!
Thank you!! I will have to look those up and try them out 😊
Great video! Love all your cross stitch goodies!!
Consider trying Sulky 12 weight thread on 36 count…one strand of Sulky is almost the thickness of two strands of DMC. My Quaker Flag is being done like this and has excellent coverage. 🦉🧵🪡
I have heard so many awesome things about sulky but never tried it, I’m gonna have to cave and purchase some!
There is a sticky spray! A lot cheaper! I use all the time!
No way!! I need to look into this sticky board prices get crazy when you do a lot of finishing thank you for the tip!
Hi Shannon, youtube suggested your channel for me. I enjoy watching stitchers that stitch a variety of projects and different designers, since that's what I do. Thank you for sharing your previous ffos and wips. For Pere Noel, I would first try making a half cross stitch over your last leg of your cross stitch with one strand of the white used elsewhere in the chart, whether it was b5200 or 3865. See if you like that effect and if not, probably backstitching in the white. Very cool to get into the retreat!
I am so excited for you to be able to goto your first retreat! You will have a blast! I went to my first one this year (Stitch Con) and I went by myself as well. You meet so many people that are instant friends. It will be difficult to be without Camden but it will work out fine as well. Him and I seem to share a birthday!!! (October 13th) I find I have issues on my videos as well with sound…either outside noise or me being too hard to hear. I think the mic on my computer is going bad. I need to get a wireless one. That’s on my list. Great video!
Thank you so much and Thank you for giving me some reassurance about the retreat, walking into a room of complete strangers as an adult is definitely so hard but I’m excited!
I love all your stitches, I'm going to start the same Santa pattern' your's looks awesome, thank you for sharing
I have 3 ornaments stitched for my grandchildren, but you have inspired me to fully finish them. I am going to my first retreat at Stitch New England and staying 3 nights. I'm beyond excited. Stitch New England is a lovely store with a terrific owner.
Ahhh yay I can’t wait to meet you! I’m so nervous but so excited I’ve heard such awesome things about both the store and retreat 😊
Wow, you amazing! I don’t know how you get any stitching done with a two year old, let alone fully finish and make project bags! I had to laugh when you talked about your Mill Hill ornament because my first thought when you held it up was, wow, she did such a great job cutting out the shape…yet you thought it was terrible! It is not, it is fabulous! And Santa’s Midnight Ride is stunning! I’ve seen a couple other flosstubers getting ready to start that piece. It is beautiful and I can’t wait to see yours finished!
You are so kind thank you so much! 💕💕
Love all your finishes - you inspire me to get my ornaments finished!!
You are a delight to watch with your happy, motivational stitching fun. I love your choices and finishes and look forward to many more flosstubes!!💕
Thank you!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I love Santa
What a great collection of ornaments! You are such a treat to watch… yr a burst of sunshine! My favorite is the Autumn Lane snowman ⛄️
Thank you so much!! ❤️❤️
I'd stick with the Pere Noel pattern and maybe add some backstitching in a dark gray or dark blue to the letters. It's super cute and your stitching looks lovely!
I loved seeing all your beautiful ornaments. You did such a wonderful job finishing them. I have just started stitching Santa’s Midnight Ride and I loved seeing yours. The colours are so vibrant and it will be so beautiful when you complete it. Thanks for a great flosstube. Happy stitching to you.
I would put white stitches by your hod ornament like Priscilla does with stitching with the housewives does on some of their letters on their ornaments
Such cute finishes. Awesome videos
Love your finishes especially the bookmark! I love to read and am planning on reading elen hillderbrand but don’t know where to start.😊
I have been binge watching your videos! You are a natural at this!! Love your finishes and your WIPS! Will be looking forward to seeing your next video….happy stitching!
Thank you so much!!
Great job on all the ornaments. Very nice!
Wondering if a pale silvery grey backstitch might be an option for the Noel? First time watching but I must say for this to be only #4 you have very smooth delivery. Love the Halloween house board. Very creatve use.
Hi Shannon, you have a great collection of ornaments! Might your unknown blue-grey fabric be Alchemy by Picture This Plus? 🧐 The “Noel” problem- I would backstitch in a dark, dark grey, like DMC 413 or similar. You could do in white, but I like that Santa is the focus of the design and if you backstitch “Noel” in white it might visually compete with Santa. Happy stitching! -Leah Noel
Great job on your project bag. They are alot of fun to make.Your ornaments are adorable. Hellen D has a great tutorial on alot of finishing especially ornaments but she does the Mill Hill ornaments also. They are very well done. Another one is Vonna The twisted stitcher fabulous. You will learn alot. Thank you for sharing have a great week. Congratulations on getting to go to your first retreat!
Awesome thank you so much I will check those videos out! ❤️
On your Pete Noel backstitching around the Noel in White 😊
🙂🙂
You DO NEED to finish the back. You can see the backs hanging on the tree.
My cross stitch tree is kitty cornered against the wall, not in the middle of a room, so you can’t see the backs of the ornaments in my tree’s specific location.
What a beautiful collection! Do you utilize the saved search feature on eBay to email you each day if something matches your search? It can be dangerous for me and I'll make myself turn it off, but it's also been awesome to find treasures for my collection.
Thank you! No I always forget about that feature on eBay so next time I’m on the hunt for a kit I’ll definitely have to try that method!
I just found you from a friend, and WOW! Beautiful stitching! I am also stitching Santorini and struggling slowly through all the blends and color changes, but you have inspired me!!
Thanks for watching and your kind words! Ahhh definitely keep going with Santorini I remember feeling the exact same way when I was stitching it but now that’s it’s finished I’m so glad I kept up with it 😊
Great start. Try Q snaps instead of hoops, easier a d no hoop marks left. Try Heaven and Earth Designs or Contemporary x stitch, full coverage so you will find it more enjoyable to stitch than Dimensions, i think.
New subscriber. I enjoyed your video and all the interesting tidbits about your life in New England. My father was from Massachusetts but we were raised in the South (Louisiana) due to his occupation (Geologist). The video brought back memories of my grandmother and aunt who lived in Rhode Island.
I had never seen you before, but now I am a subscriber to you. I enjoyed seeing all of your Dimensions. I have a lot of them, too. It's fun to go back through them to see what you have. Can't wait to see you again.
You have beautiful finishes and great stitcher!! I am new in cross stitch and because I don’t have a close by stitch shop, I have to do with Hobby Lobby, Micheal’s and Joann’s. However I really like your video and your stitches. Also, we both share our birthdays! 7/28th! My favorite colors is reds and yellows, and pinks. I also love country western decor!
Thank you so much! Ahhh birthday twins, I love that! I feel like 7/28 birthdays are kind of rare I never meet anyone with our birthday so how cool!! ❤️
What fun to see your Dimension kit stash. Where else do you find them besides Ebay? I would like to look for some older ones. Can't wait to for your next video.😊
Enjoyed seeing your kit stash! I’ve thought about stitching the red truck stocking for my husband.
Rǣde mē þis: iċ eom ānhaga īserne wund, bille ġebennod, beadoweorca sæd, eċġum wēriġ.
Amen to that view with a cold something to drink and a book, or stitching! I am about 1/3rd the way thru Dreaming of Tuscany. It's very pretty. I was going thru my stash the other day, dreaming and drooling, you know how it is, and discovered I have also have it as a needlepoint kit lol. I live in rural California (yes that exists), and greatly appreciate the quiet. We recently acquired a "new" 1948 red International truck. He will definitely be decorated for Christmas this year!
I totally also got my Twilight's Calm after watching Christine from Calico Whimsy! 🤣
Really love your flosstube! Please keep it up! I stitch on Lugana - love evenweave. Not afraid of linen, just like evenweave better - both in stitching and the finished look. Thank you for the flosstube!
I love Dimensions kits. I stitched the little red truck at the end and it is so beautiful stitched. All the reds were fun. Definitely a lot of kits I don’t have. I am from the Debbie Mum era and have always liked that kit.

You have some great kits! I enjoyed seeing them.
What a lovely collection of kits. I haven’t stitched a dimension kit in years, but you have inspired me to grab one and try (although I’m much older now and need all the lights and magnifiers to stitch😊). Enjoying your channel and your stitching projects.
I really enjoyed this episode. It was like looking at my stash. I'd say you have about 90 percent of what I own. I can't wait until you get to stitch each one. I also liked listening to you describe your area where you live. It sounds like you live in a beautiful country/ rural place. All in all, a lovely show. 😊
Love your Dimensions parade, thanks for sharing! I am currently stitching the "truck" (your last kit you showed). The hoop is awful but I love the pattern!
I love your videos! Your stitching is beautiful 🥰
So many beautiful charts. The farm one caught my eye. Is there still a cross stitch shop in Mystic? We visited many years ago. I don't remember the name.
I tried searching and I found a needlepoint shop in mystic, having a cross stitch store would be amazing !
@@StitchingShan Maybe that was it. I remember walking in and seeing a lot of finished pieces on the walls, and was overwhelmed! This was 25ish years ago. Thanks for checking for me. 😊
