i know very little about social games, and i had a headscratch moment when the host and comments mention "safety tool" i googled it and all i could find are "x-card" open door policy or safewords. i would not call them tools, but weak social contract/legislation of politeness and respect. which is a non-issue with trusted friends, nor are they effective if strangers just decides to be a jerk. you want safety, the chinese gov try to regulate it, you arent happy either...

I honestly wish I had the power to create my own roblox-like platform. I can assure you I’d be far better than Roblox’s team (which isn’t hard). Required to provide evidence of 18+ age to perform any “gambling” purchases such as limiteds for eg and I’d include limited monthly spending for game currency (100$ limit per month and 48 hour wait time before you can spend said currency so in that time you can cancel your purchase to help parents with thieves for family members). Also trades will be able to be undone for 7 days and the currency traded will be suspended for the 7 days so if you are scammed you can secure your account and undo the trade yourself to allow less reliance on the company so you don’t gotta wait on wait times and a response since that can always cause many problems and stress. You can request to immediately suspend everything done with your account such as trades and purchases which would be done automatically with a special multi identifier application on your phone for those who do need staff/moderator help so that the time it takes for them to respond doesn’t cost you the risk of losing everything (obviously though you’d have to provided a fair amount of information depending on what’s happening since we are talking about money). The identifier app would use randomly generated numbers and letters to log into your account each time simply to prevent stuff like people stealing your information through cookies and add ons. Random ramble about somethings I’d do though obviously I’m sure there’s far better more efficient ways of doing the same thing and a better way to explain it all in far less words haha.

one time i bought a hat with robux, and it costed about 5000 robux, and then roblox content deleted the item and didnt refund me, and i appealed this and roblox told me it was my fault because i had purchased the item in the first place.

I personally find it amusing that how Excel is updated over years helped making Excel-sport rather viable. Firstly Excel has TalkBack which allows the athletes to use audio cues to improve efficiency. Secondly Microsoft 365 allows Excel to be "online", making it possible to have a host server that runs the scoring script, and the scoreboard can be sent back to the athletes in real time as well. Thirdly Excel can be manipulated using its COM interface, and thus it's possible to develop an automatic scoring system.
