I have seen all the content on the net ( well, almost :-) ), but you are absolutely the kings. On top, I have a few tools myself ( an euphemism, of course ) only four welding machines, for instance,( but in the process of acquiring at least two more this autumn, a good MIG and, for sure, a very good TIG. My wife knows nothing). I counted my spanner sets, Jon wins, I only have eight, or so. 🙂 And I can go on like this for hours, but I will spare you.. Your videos are very useful even to people ho have some previous DIY experience. Thank you! P.S. I am converting two trucks (you heard well, two): a street panel van Iveco 5.4 t and an ex Danish army MAN 8.136 4x4. (I simply do not intend to match muscles with Jess 🙂..)

the ex-Sainsbury's supermarket delivery van build and subsequent adventure was awesome. As a 72 year old South African, ex adventure motorcyclist and still a DIY'er who is currently immobile as a result of lost argument with a large angle grinder I have had little else to do for a week now other than surf CZcams channels, having stumbled on True Blue Travellers has made my immobility bearable, simply the best of in this genre, the pair of you are very professional entertainers keep up good work. Hopefully a South African adventure is on your agenda for the future.❤

Hi guys, Just watched your video over at vanlove, and just wondered how much it’s going to cost to ship your van over to the US, or if you have a rough idea ? I honestly thought it would have been crazy expensive. I’ve always wanted to do a van build and ship it over to Cyprus and spend a few months exploring, but I always expected the costs would make it impossible. I always thought of doing a Sainsburys van build too, as I worked for them delivering through lockdown and the vans are much bigger than people think, and they are extremely easy and comfortable to drive. Before seeing your Sainsburys van build I always thought it would be a fantastic idea to convert one because of all the space and the fact it’s a square box with good headroom and all the Sainsburys vans are always auto so they are super easy to drive. But anyway sorry for all the waffling on Do you have an idea of the cost of shipping over to the US yet and do you have any more details of what the trip might entail ? I can’t wait I know it will be epic.

The reason there won’t be a sign as you were probably in the national park, which are very strict on things like that. Problem is not just you but they have a lot of people doing that and unfortunately not everyone is as respectful as you and causes damage. Also can’t believe you drove through hawes without stopping at the world famous Wensleydale creamery! Well worth it.

Hello my dears. You'll find this difficult to believe but I only came across True Blue Travellers yesterday, and I have already binge watched the whole Sainsbury's van series, as well as the stay in Spain (which is incidentally where I live). Congrats on the quality of your content, the humorous bantering, and the filming. Now picking up on the Morocco trip. On the subject of which: at Easter I was there on a Suzuki V-Strom 650 together with 12 more people on various bikes; I mentioned to one of them how I had completely forgotten to bring sweets for the children who line the roads (friends in Spain had commented that it would be a nice idea) and I could see the suggestion got a pretty poor reception. Well, she explained to me that as there is no decent national health system or dental care program in Morocco for the children I had done well not to bring them that stuff - "just look at the state of the teeth in some of these twenty to thirty-year olds!", she said:"Justin, next time you come, bring them writing implements, odds and ends to help them study, and other useful items but NO sweet foodstuffs!" I think she was right. Thought you might like to hear this.

So I've binged watched the Sainsbury's van build as well as the 2 Q&A's And s couple of other videos today. You definitely both made me laugh multiple times today. A great watch 😁 You've also re-ignited my mojo with CZcams, I gave it a go and had to shelve it when other circumstances changed. Anyway, I'm off to edit some of my photos and videos and get something posted asap... So Not only great content and a new sub from me, but also a Massive THANK YOU. Not sure if you got sorted for your seats. There is a place in Strensall, York, North Yorkshire, YO32 5TR called the seat surgeons. A few years ago go I had my MX5 done the price was very competitive. The process was at the time, unless they had patterns for the vehicle already, they would measure up and prepare the design, you would choose materials and colour etc. after which the new covers would be made (overseas) and be available for fitting some 10 days later. They also did occasional bits like dash boards and other interior parts.

You could turn the water valve into a clock.

That was a great episode, weather allowing you to get things done outside and a chance to get the Triumph out. I have a Triumph Speedmaster Chrome and just brought a Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 which I took to the ABR festival to run it in and take it around the Bridgestone Trail, my first attempt at off roading.

I was cracking up with the nan storyteller intro but the fireman absolutely sent me 😄 What an awesome project. It looks like it's built for reliability. You guys make an impressive team. Could have opted for MIG aluminium welding but it's not as fancy and introduces more heat/warpage.

I'm now working my way through every video for inspiration on my camper build. Quick question, where did you get the bench seat from/what vehicle is it from? I'm having trouble finding one that isn't extortionately priced.
