I'm currently applauding with my feet, because my hands are too busy typing: what an imense privilege it is to be able to watch this. Marianela is one of a kind, the star in a generation, her absolute dedication to her craft, her expressiveness and her palpable joy dancing are delightful to watch. Her and Muntagirov are always a perfect duo. I'm almost speechless.

Это была и есть мой эталон. Я из маленкого горада в Болгарии, не знала русского, но чудом поехала в Москву и проучилась там 5 лет, на педагогике балета! Я случайно понила, что она приезжает в Болгарию, в том городе, где я закончила балетное училище. Я давно уже не в том городе и давно уже не в том театре. Знакомые, которые бы посодействовали нету, кроме педагога, но она имеет свои интерессы и уже во возросте! Короче если есть возможности как то увидить ее репетиции, узнать когда она снова будет в Болгарии, буду очень благодарна!

I saw her in the Eurovision competion for young dancers and was so much impressed. Later she became a principal dancer and I was not suprised. She also seems to be a very nice person .

I saw her in Carmen at ROH two weeks ago and her voice was flawless - one of the best mezzos in the world today (if not THE best) !!

The vertical axis of his turns, and his speed, are the best I've seen on CZcams of this dance excerpt, and with respect to the skimpiness of the costume, I would say that the purpose of this dance is to show the beauty, grace, and perfection of the male body. As to whether his technique dampens his artistry, well, I don't have enough experience to comment on that. But he made me gasp, so I think I was moved by his performance. What more can I ask for?
