    The chorus line of famous men and "Radio City Music Hall Rockettes"who appear in the 1982 video clip from "The Night Of 100 Stars"is stalled during the appearance of Sir David Frost..could you please see what the problem is and try to fix it?

    I love this film so much, they don't make masterpieces like this anymore...such unnerving terror of the closing in on an isolated woman, contrasted with great lines such as 'when I think of what they spend on ROBES and JEWELS! lolol....

    This movie was made with so much calculation. I don't think this scene was done without a lot of thought. She seems to be taking part in one of the seven deadly sins which is gluttony.

    It’s very well conceptualised in the film how much Rosemary is left out of the conversation and have guy who is totally in with the Cult because he just cares but I’m self. He only cares about fame. He doesn’t even agree and say oh yes I made you uncomfortable Rosemary I love you you’re my wife I wouldn’t want that he just gets on with the witches and just thinks yes they’re going to give me what I want then that’s fine

  • @EM-lz9kg
    @EM-lz9kg Před 7 měsíci

    Each time I read Ira levins classic or watch this phenomenal movie, I get more aware of how Guy was so involved in himself & Fame ! In the book Rosemary even takes a week break at Hutch’s boat house & Guy doesn’t come to find her etc , just talks Incessantly about himself and his career I think it’s hinted to me at the beginning, Rosemary would’ve been so much happier with that guy, even without what is the horrendous outcome that did happen, that guy was just a very selfish, vain fame, hungry, hateful person

  • @EM-lz9kg
    @EM-lz9kg Před 7 měsíci

    In the book Ira levin points out how all through the meal & invite Rosemary felt like a outsider from the first second I felt as I read the book he was hinting that Guy had already Betrayed his wife for Fame hinting that Guy had already joined there cult ie saying that he’d already seen the Minnie etc it in private without Rosemary , knowing prior to this so-called invite the way that they suddenly kept saying oh, It’s Guys wife who is the wife of its Rosemary is very much more expressed in the book beautifully shot in the film, but it’s much more expressed in the book that it was immediately purposely putting Rosemary on the outside Guy is using his wife like a prop for Fame feels completely on the outside all the time and to meet you. For fame he’s sold his son child & he is inside guy has been very much in contact with the witches

  • @EM-lz9kg
    @EM-lz9kg Před 7 měsíci

    You looked uncomfortable “ Guy replies good point asap as to the witches critiques of The Pope “ you have a good in quality ie I can’t believe u wouldn’t sell your own wife for FAME 😮

    This must be the from the infamous Pia Zadora Golden Globes show. If naturally wish that I could see the actual footage of her "winning" the Golden Globe for New Star of the Year. In reality, her billionaire husband, wined and dined and basically bribed the voters to give her the award for her film Butterfly.

    There is so much in that cake eating. I just feel her conniving against her guests and can see and feel the wheels turning as she rushes the victims forward into her web. Just as she does when she tells Guy to ".....shut up ! She can neither hear nor see....SING..!" when the devil is having Rose.

    It is very interesting how the focus is on Minnie eating the cake while, in the background, Roman is swindling Guy talking about theater, knowing he is a desperate actor needed of recognition and power... Yet we the spectators do not pay attention to him because of Minnie. Fantastic.

    I watched Rosemary’s Baby just yesterday with my college English class. During this scene one of my classmates yelled out, “Why is she eating that cake like a goddamn animal?!” And everyone laughed so much and thought the same thing! Including our professor. I added my thoughts and said I think the scene was trying to convey how animalistic she and Roman *truly* were inside (we had all read the book and were watching the film to compare). Some people thought I made a good point 🤷‍♂️

    This movie is overflowing with subtie occult symbolism and representation, including in the dialogue, like the way Guy and Roman immediately stopped talking, and put on very serious expressions, when Rosemary and Minnie walked back until the room. That silence and seriousness was an occult tell
