People might criticise their parents for letting them eat so much, but I think that's only half the story. For them to actually be capable of eating that much in the first place they must have some sort of underlying medical condition, because appetites like that simply aren't normal

I was given milk, grilled or broiled meat, fruit and vegetables as a kid. When grandma baked cookies, I was allowed to have two and a glass of milk. When I was little, I got to play outside on the back porch of our apartment. I remember a few times my mama took me to the park. I never had a weight problem until I was 20. My arthritis got to a critical point and I can't move well anymore, which is why I'm overweight.

I'm 34 when I was 10 years old I was so skinny and healthy and I never gain weight when I was 10 years until I got older I started to gain weight

When my niece was born, she was 9 lbs with so much flubber. Now that she's 20, she is solid/ stocky. She was never slim because of genetics. Plus her mom was a big baby

In the 1980s & 90s I allowed my children mini carrots, & Honeynut Cheerios for snacks. Now my girls are giving their children healthy snacks. Our family runs bigger than is the 'in' thing & this was/is how we prevented child obesity.

Reading these comments is funny. Because of this show, Joshua was given to his drug addict father. He was pulled out of school, so he could be put to work, so they could take his money. He never graduated from high school and still does not have his GED. They allowed him to smoke pot and he is currently suffering from obesity. It was easy for him to loose weight when they spend all their money on lotto tickets, beer and pot. As soon as the child support stopped, they kicked him out and he lived with his mom and step-father. You ruined this boys life just so you could put a dollar in your pocket. Again, you failed and you put this child through hell. Now, you want to but him back on your show so you can destroy his life further. Why don't you go back and look at the criminal history of the man you put this child with and show how wrong you were to do this to a child. In short, pull your head out before you say something about someone and get your facts straight first, you hack.
