This is my mk7 fiesta turbo at Brands Hatch on a track day at Brands Hatch on the 15th April 2019, car was running on low boost all day (300bhp 230lbft). I turned it up to high boost on the straight to chase the mclaren 720s.

one of my track sessions at ford power live in October 2017, has a short ratio straight cut gearbox fitted that was too short for the power of the car so that's why i'm lifting and coasting half way down the straights on the limiter in 5th gear

Yes I’ve still got the car but the engine oil pump failed and scrapped the engine, I’m currently putting a 2.0 duratec in it on throttle bodies but life has gotten in the way lol

I didn’t, I developed and manufactured it myself

I had it made. I sold it to a friend recently but he may not require it any longer so he may be willing to sell it on. I only sold it as I’m going over to a 2.0 n/a engine now
Quick question mate (if you’re still posting) Where’d you get the gearbox from? I have been trying to look for a box (sequential) for awhile now but I have not the foggiest idea if the MK7 Zetec S has a IB5 or IB6 Help would be appreciated mate :)
Mines not sequential it’s just a straight cut gear set but quaife who make the kit also do a sequential option 👍🏻

Gregg Smith mines not an st engine I converted the original engine to turbo so it’s not an off the shelf conversion for an st but my turbo is a Garret gt28rs

Its f*cking impressive! I watched all your videos with the face sticked to the screen. The sound, the power, its really awesome what you have done. Sorry for my english, im from Argentina. I`ve a question, do you know how much power the stock internals resist? Here in Argentina there is almost nothing about this car, i didnt see anyone like yours, and in a future i would do something like this, maybe not as much powerfull as yours but near 250 - 280 bhp.
This car deserves way more attention than it gets mate. You've done a proper proper job- I would love to know the full spec list but I know most of it is custom anyway. Good job!

What’s the engine set up ? Seems quick . Gearbox seems modded too judging by the whine ?
It’s a 1.6 zetec s converted to turbo. For most of the video it’s running at low boost 300bhp 230lbft setting. I turn it up to high boost at 350bhp and 330lbft when i come up behind the mclaren. The gearbox is straight cut quaife

Wow! Great action on the wet! What's the fuel management system you use? Is it possible to activate traction control at it?
Thalis Vilela the engine management is Omex 600, no it’s not possible to run traction control. I have to use my foot 👍🏻
@@MTuneFiesta Very Nice! If you ever consider changing you ECU, check out the Fueltechs, the FT450 will fit in the original Fiesta's multimedia screen like a charm! Also, some traction control for additional wet wizardry and some fireballs while doing it.

It isn’t a kit mate I made it all myself. I may actually be selling the engine and turbo manifold soon and going to a 2.0 duratec turbo so I’ll let you know if I do

It’s a really difficult and costly process to get it done to run right and be reliable. It will cost in excess of £5k and generally now days is cheaper to do a conversion to an st engine
Brett Shepherd MK7 Fiesta Turbo How much and how easy would an st conversion be? I know it would cost a lot but I want more power, in the mean time I was thinking of putting the st180 mountune airbox as long as it fits and maybe a decat and bluefin would I see much gain from that?
It won’t be an on the drive job. It’s a very involved conversion. Need to run the whole dash, clocks and wiring loom as well as the engine and gearbox. An air box, decat and remap should see around 140bhp
Hello, I found your car on YT, I own the Ford FIesta mk7 2011 1.6 120 n / a I have a plan to make a turbo engine, Please tell me how much this motor will withstand power without forged connecting rods? what modifications should be used to obtain 300km?
Damian Deedee it will cost you a stupid amount and of money to turbo your car let alone reach 180mph 😂 and your motor would need to be forged so it's not worth it, It will be cheaper for you to buy a new car

I just found companies at the time but that was like 7 years ago and I can’t remember sorry, it cost far too much, especially coz I was the first to do it and push the boundaries of the engine, works out expensive after about 4 blow ups

Nice car, would it not have been better to fit a 1.6 Fiesta ST engine and gear box in the car, you seem to be hitting the rev limiter on the straight?
sparkplug964 no mate, I built this before ford made the st, it eats standard gearboxes so the box in it in this video was a very short ratio race box, I’ve now got a new race box with more sensible ratios for my power and engine rpm so it’s much better

Fordy Ford yes I agree the rattle is annoying and I have sorted that in new videos, the turbo is a Garrett gt28 and the intake is custom made for the car

Brett Shepherd MK7 Fiesta Turbo what forged parts did you install in the engine and where did you find the turbo oil feed line from engine?
They are pec forged con rods and wossner pistons. Unfortunately they’re no longer available to but they have to be special order. The oil feed for the turbo I used a take off block from where the oil light switch goes

Hi Brett, I am trying to modify the same car right now. Would you be able to provide me with some information? I am looking for at least ECU wiring diagrams and required compression ratio for 300hp. Have you used forged parts? What injectors are you running on? Thanks.
Hi mate, I am using an Omex 600 ecu to run the engine because the standard one isn’t capable of handling boost. I am running 9:1 compression ratio, yes I am using a forged engine with ported head. I’m running Siemens dekka 660cc injectors
Thanks a lot. Have you used a decompression plate or some other method? And if so did you have to adjust cam timing after?
No I didn’t use a decompression plate, the forged pistons were low compression spec. I have done away with the vct and run custom adjustable cam verniers and dialled the timing in on the dyno

Some1David forged engine, custom inlet and exhaust manifolds, gt28rs turbo, custom crank, big fuel system, Omex 600 ecu and a fair bit more

No not just the turbo there’s a load of other stuff you have to do to the engine to be able to stand the power, the easiest way is to do an st engine conversion but I didn’t have that option because I built this before ford made the st

Which engine is that? In Brazil we got a Fiesta 1.6 with an engine named of Sigma. I would love to turbo it, but I dont find nothing about tuning that engine, can you make a list of the specs and where you got forged rods and pistons?

whats the displacement on yours the only sporty model we get in the us is the st the other ones are 1.0 liter i think
Go Slow Motion mine is a 1.6L engine too but is a zs that I converted to turbo so is a different set up to the st engine

That's mega quick and good going fella well done. we were there in our Team Fiesta ST (blue with RS400 Maxton design kit). whats the weight and rest of the spec of the car if you don't mind me asking i.e tyres and size and suspension etc. impressed =)
Peak Performance Reviews thanks mate yer I saw you out there a couple times, I was on nankang ar-1 tyres 205/40/17 with meister r coilovers, car is pretty much standard weight, I’ve removed the rear seats but with the added weight of the intercooler and box section tubing for the front splitter I’ve added on more than I’ve lost I think. I had a straight cut quaife gearbox in it for the day because it enjoys eating a standard box but the ratios were miles too short as you can see and hear I’m on the limiter in 5th half way down the back straight and at the pit exit on the main straight
