This content still relevant! Tho created 5 years ago! Thank u fellow tinker player 👍🙏🥰
my pleasure! I'm thinking about making a new video after the 7.36 changes
@@GoodEveningDota gonna wait for it! Lets gooooo sir 👍
Come back bro, we need an updated one
hi cani haveyour discord bro
thank you for this! <3
how much u keep mouse sensitivity ??
My mouse is at 1000 DPI and Windows sensitivity is at 10 (standard one, if I'm not mistaken)
Dude can u teach me use enable quick cast tp to base
Gotta slapp those hotkeys to win the game
Did u always use shift key to blink and rearm spell?way of using shift key and using normal playstyle which one is better?I like your laser and blink combo. Can u explain detail about laser and combo?I realized ur laser and blink combo havnt use shift key.right? So u just play press Q and blink?
Ok so first of all remember that shift queue always waits for the backwsing animation. So if you laser and shift blink, you'll have to wait for the entire backwsing animation. For farming, I usually just shift blink and E, no ream because of E backswing And last thing, shift queue is really only useful for farming, for fights you should usually just click fast enough, because of the long backswings of Q and W
@@GoodEveningDota So u play just press laser and immediate blink,no shift.right? Thanks for sharing ur playstyle.useful tips.
So many buttons... I'd find tinker really fun if he had like 2 less active items
We need more videos and gameplay!!!!!
My hotkeys are alt, just space for dagger and I have 58.4% winrate
Your video helps me so much, thank you for this guide. I would like to ask if there is a shortcut on how to tp automatically on your base? It seems on my end that I need first to point any building or creeps before I tp, sometimes I just want to go home to regen mana. Is there a way how to do it?
Good fucking guide u deserve 10 million subscribers
"This should be easy" , me crying after try 33x and still think tinker is hard bcuz too many button 😭
if i am gonna use the SCROLL on mouse? instead of using ( quick cast items ) am i gonna have trouble with dota? because while playing on tinker after approx 35 min its starting to lag...
Really good guide from u its simple and correct if u showing things and talk about it why is good when to use it and How really like it keep going and also u do it for us in slow motions 😄
Amazing guide
gg video on tinker...haven't seen nything like this nywhere else...
thanks man. love from Dubai
I know your video is too old but when i see your Video i play tinker really better thanks for your Help
Perfect ty. I will learn it
I'm just learning about the hotkey stuff but as a legacy key player. I'm having a really hard time in this new tp slot. I kinda activated the "double tap to cast self option" and I actually got used to it. It allowed me to tp straight to the fountain without clicking the location etc. Now I'm finding it hard to perform the same action since. Teleport hotkey and heat seeking missiles have the same hotkey. any suggestions on what to do man? Already subbed btw. Good vid
Are you talking about the "T" key? How about your hotkeys for other items? The only thing I can suggest is to find a hotkey system with no conflict and just get used to it. It took me time to find my current hotkeys for each item, but at some point I had to force myself to get used to them (that's the most unpleasant part, I know). So... find another key and force yourself to change. It's basically the same thing with legacy hotkeys, you kept them because you were used to them; but if you were to move to QWER, you'd have to force yourself to adapt.
But is there like a shortcut for it? I mean a lot of tinker players including you can tp to the fountain without looking at the fountain. I was able to do that before. Badly need a professionals help.
PS:my hotkeys for my items are. 1.2.3.4.5 and space bar. Tp scroll is t. But a lot of heroes use T for their skills:/
Well in that case I can only recommend using 6 for TP, since any letter can be assigned to a spell. You may also change it just when you play Tinker, so that you don't affect other heroes. I use 2 hotkeys for when I have a simple TP or travels, because I have 2 different automatisms. Basically the new tp slot messed things up, but I had to adapt and assign a new hotkey. If I buy dagon and shiva (very very rarely), there will be a conflict in hotkeys, but I'll force myself to use shiva on another hotkey (either 3 or mouse instead of 1); it's annoying but I have to. Just force yourself to a use a new hotkey; if you want to do it, you can do it.
Casually enables "Channeled abilities require hold/stop" HO LEE CRYST!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS AFTER 7YRS INTERUPTING REARM!!!!!!!
hello sir than you for the video I want to learn tinker can you watch me play on game and give me pointers ?
Isnt better to use Rockets first, then Dagon then Laser, after Laser you can use blink just like you show us in the video?? Instead of Rockets/Laser/Dagon and maybe then Blink?
What is shift q you talk about? I dont understand,is shift key help you with something on tinker?
Tp+shift+blink+E and tp+shift(+blink)+hex/dagon are useful. Otherwise, shift queueuing is not that useful, just be quick with your fingers.
@@GoodEveningDota Ty for answering. Ok so I dont use blink on normal cast as you do,I use it on quickcast. With blink you can escape in multiple situations and I think quickcast its better. So if I have the Quickcast on blink why do I need to use Shift key?( is really hard for me to use shift) Can I use the combos in your video without this shift??
@@edward3105 1) blink on quickcast is good if you never mess up 2) you don't need shift queue to do combos, and it's even bad and useless 3) you only shift queue in 2 cases : to farm (makes it slightly easier), and 100% catch a hero you HAVE VISION ON. Let's assume an enemy pa is out of position on a lane, you tp on creeps, shift queue blink hex to have the lowest downtime possible and avoid them using bkb. I hope it's clearer now.
@@GoodEveningDota Ty man for explaining this to me I've understood. Another question is when you say I can mess up with Quickcast Blink on which situation are you meaning? maybe u are assuming I can double click on blink and it will automatically blink me closer to the base or there are any other situations where I can mess up?
@@edward3105 it's about muscle memory. Since I'm not used to quickcast, I will press the blink key before my cursor reaches the desired blink location, so I will end up messing up. Basically, my brain is programmed to blink when I click with my mouse, not when I press blink. For you, your brain is coordinated so that you don't mess up (I assume). Tell me if it's clear enough for you.
What is your mouse 4 key in quick cast item? izit the mouse wheel? or left or right click?
Is there some other Tinker-related content you guys wanna see? Should I make shorter videos about the combos and the settings?
Yes sir, please. How about how to deal with hard lanes like Huskars, Vipers, Razors, QoP and ETC
i Hope u make it again but with now tinker patch
@@zhengshen1637 use laser first then dagon, and WAIT for laser's cast animation THEN use dagon (or use laser and SPAM click dagon)
ty dude rlly nc guide
Hey man, good job for the video. That was very clear for me even tho i never use quick cast because i'm uncomfort with that haha. As same tinker player i want to ask you about the build. Do you prefer... A. Aether-Dagon/hex-etc B. Shivas-bloodstone/hex-etc C. Bloodstone-Aghs-Etc I prefer the B option.. That make my tinker thick as hell haha. Check out my dotabuff www.dotabuff.com/players/444290798
I am your 101st subscriber. I'm new to dota 2 and tinker is my first hero. I can only beat the bots at medium level. Do you have any suggestions how i can improve?
Welcome to Dota! Tinker is really not an easy hero, and his gameplay is unconventional. But if you wanna stick to it anyway, so be it. What I can suggest is (and this works for all heroes) to watch replays and gameplay highlights of good players on that hero (pro players or random high ranked players). What you can start with is search for highlights on CZcams of funkefal and radical highway. You have no idea how much time I spent watching replays and highlights. Replays can be found on Dotabuff.com (go to a hero's page, then click on trending guides, then you have access to many match IDs that you can copy and paste in the client to download the replay). As for general mechanics and hero-specific mechanics, it's all about practice (+ a bit of theory and acknowledging that you are bad and wrong). So just watch streamers on Twitch and see what they do and how they play. They also happen to explain their decisions. Feel free to ask if you have any other question, and have fun!
@@GoodEveningDota thanks very much for the detailed reply sir. Your help is much appreciated.
what are your thoughts on the 25lvl talent? in your replay i saw that you went +laser damage instead of rocket stun. do you always go for laser? or is it situtational and it varies case by case? what are some instances when you would go for rocket stun and when would you go for laser damage? cheers :)
In 99% of cases I go for the missile stun because I find that stuns are quite strong Especially that now level 30 unlocks everything, I think taking the missile talent is nearly always good As for builds, I find myself going mostly for shiva bloodstone bkb/hex, and I think it's the most reliable build
I'm wondering how can you perform that rocket laser then dagon ( x and z) then 1 the keys are so far
Oh... it's A and Z, and it's a French keyboard so it's the equivalent of Q and W, right below 1 :) (French keyboards have AZERTY instead of QWERTY)
Oh my haha sorry
Lmao
I just stumbled upon your video looking for tinker guides and it's perfect! I checked your dotabuff and saw that you're ancient but I honestly thought you were divine/immortal. Thanks for the vid bro, anyway, do you just get the timings right by muscle memory and practice? I always screw up with the big combos and end up getting the backswing. PS. Goodluck with the mmr grind
I actually made this guide when I was still legend. I reached divine a couple of weeks ago but I've fallen back to ancient. As for your question, practice and muscle memory is everything. I used to practice a lot in demo hero/unranked. One last tip is to spam keys. For instance, if you use laser then dagon, but keep spamming the dagon hotkey a few times (it can actually become part of your muscle memory), you're gonna use it right after laser. If 0 is when laser is cast and 1 is when its backswing ends, press dagon at 0.5, 0.8, 1, and 1.2 (basically a couple of times in a row) and you should be fine. But you can still time it relatively well just by habit.
you should do more guides they are good. bad luck i play with alt + qweasd for items. is so hard to get use to this kind of hotkeys x_x
How do you create that lobby?
Great guide. Very nice for beginners. Too much of efforts put in man
not too much effort. you didnt show how to drop all items well not just in fountain but during fights. and camera grip is needed to do that.
For the combo with the Hex you forgot a subtlety that can actually be the difference between having enough mana for the kill or not (for example on beefy targets, or if you don't have dagon next to it, or if you encounter an ennemy while not being full mana because you were doing stuff...): you can: hex missile laser, rearm, missile laser hex, rearm, missile laser rearm, hex ...etc... Hex is 3.5s and rearm at level 3 is under 1s second, so you can chain hex that way while still preventing bkb activation. You actually can save a hex activation which is a bit of mana. If you get good at cancelling your animations, you can even start to do this way with rearm lvl2, but I don't recommend it's quite clutch, while perfectly doable. It requires the muscle memory to be adapted and not braindead, but surprisingly it's not that hard to get. I can do it consistently even though I never practiced specific comboes. I'm personally a huge fan of the force staff on tinker and it's likely the use of that item that helped me learn to be more adaptable with my comboes. It allways make me so sad that no one talks about that item on Tinker. Positionning around the fight and keeping force staffing the ally that is focused by an ennemy ursa or sven is absolutely bonkers. It also gives an extra layer of security during teamfight meaning you have more freedom for positionning. It's also a great item for chasing, and it helps farm / push lanes faster as you get to the extra farming spot with one less rearm, you can extend your movement patterns on the map. All of that for 2k gold. Not an item for every game of course. It's also a must against riki or slark since you can force staff out of smoke screen / pounce leash, and gives an escape if you got caught. You can also use it to save an ally that got caught in that.
I've been spamming tinker for 2 weeks now and gained more mmr than I usually do. Thanks for the tutorial bro. Very useful specially on the backswings. COMMENDED!!!
Double shiva is very hard. I use alt on item + quickcast, so far all ok except for shiva 😢
What part of it are you struggling with? I suggest you practice it with Rearm level 1 first, before moving to levels 2 and 3.
this is facinating
IT SEEMS THAT DAGON AND HEX ARE CAST ON SAME KEY AT ONE KEY ON THE SAME MILLISECOND, HOW IS THAT?
Using quickcast on both items, just press dagon and hex keys at the same time while your cursor is on the enemy. That's how you instantly use both.
1 question though, is this possible if you only have 10 fingers?
I'm here because I'm mad of being rect by smurf tinkers for the probably 50. time. Seems like finally I have to practice this hero. The grind starts tomorrow!
thanks for the guide btw
It's my pleasure. Happy spamming, and just stay consistent. Even at 1000+ games with Tinker, I'm still learning things.
I didnt know Davie504 did dota videos
I love you
Nice skin
A lot of times when i play tinker i accidentaly click my ult 2 times and my hero cast ult once like i wanted to and once automaticaly (i think its because i press ult 2 times). Anyone knows what settings i should use to stop this?
With the settings I showed in the video, pressing the ult twice will indeed queue 2 rearms To cancel/reset the queue, simply right click anywhere (move) so that the 2nd rearm is replaced by the move command in the queue. Aftewards, that move command can be ofc cancelled by anything (using an item or a spell) Do this in demo hero and tell me if it solved your problem
@@GoodEveningDota I tried it and its no longer rearming twice. Thanks!
Vaya.. Gracias bro.. Saludos desde sud América
Muchas gracias :)
