I gotta say. If I'm feeling down, listening to George talk makes me feel good. I understand that I don't know who George really is, but who he is in his video interviews... that person is a pretty good person, whether or not he really exists. And I guess that during George's interviews... that George does exist, if only during the interview.

What a beautiful articulate tribute to the best band in the world ever. Brought tears to my eyes. He's talking about the impact in the US. Can you imagine what it was like here in the UK before this? Everything was black and white here too. Clothes were awful, wages low and we were still recovering from the war. There were still bonb sites and poor housing. Then, out of the blue came The Beatles. Life was never the same again. I was 10 when Love Me Do was released and I've loved them ever since.

One of if not the live performance of a song in history. Just Nick Mason tossing the headphones saying screw jt one more time I need to hear this myself and their smiles. Dave and Roger tried so hard to hide how much they loved this performance but they knew it was absolutely beautiful. I remember watching this live as a kid with my mother and I get chills and a tear in my eye every time. Just magnificent

Can't argue too much but without the black American artists and Buddy Holly bringing his take on that to the UK the Beatles would never have been what they were. There would be no Rolling Stones either. Seen George about a dozen times in the 1980s live and he even turned me onto Johnny Cash but I was born in 1969 so by the Beatles were only in film and the record store.

When Martin Scorcese, Olivia & Dhani Harrison made the George Harrison: LIving In The Material World documentary, I made this video with pics from the that doc. I used the song Be Here Now from the album Living In The Material World, which for some reason was not used in the doc. I did this video back in 2011 shortly after the doc was released. Since then Olivia released a 12" vinyl pressing of Be Here Now for a charity about 3 years ago. I think. I like to think my video influenced this release. Yea but George was one of the few performers to hold a free concert every year at Irvine Meadows in SoCal back in the 80's. Thank you George for all the great music.
