In this Cities: Skylines 2 video I will be doing some Neighbourhood Detailing on an open, unused downtown area.
I start by covering the grass with a concrete surface and placing the basketball courts.
Next, I place down some pedestrian paths around the basketball courts to help me make sure I get the fences straight with a decent sized gap between the courts and fences for some benches and bins/trash cans.
Then, I create some openings in the fence for pedestrians to enter the basketball courts, place some basketball hoops.
I then create some shopping areas/café areas off a building with some flowers, tables and bins.
Next, I start doing a bit more smaller detail work by placing some parking spaces, graffiti, spills, cracks, stains, large bins/dumpsters lighting and a big patio for pedestrians to sit at and potentially watch basketball.
Finally we take a look at a few cinematic shots of the finished product during the day and night.
