Overcoming the Fear of Bullying
Helping boys overcome the fear of defending themselves against another bully’s attack is a complex and emotionally challenging task. Their anger often redirects toward us-coaches, parents, teachers. Nevertheless, it is crucial that we maintain our emotional stability to coach them through the restoration process. By doing so, we facilitate their mental healing and equip them with the skills to protect themselves physically when necessary.

Learning to Let Go

Holding onto unresolved anger is like sitting in fire and hoping those you’re mad at will get burned, but it only scorches you. Therefore, it’s imperative we foster emotional stability early on, so that we can pave the way for a future where boys can navigate life’s challenges with composure and lead lives that are happier and more fulfilling!
Emotions: Don't Let Them Rule You!

At critical moments, it’s crucial that we don’t let emotions take over, despite them being a core part of our being. Egypt, on his third day in our academy, faced the overwhelming pressure to perform, that too often derails boys and men from their intended paths. Instead of condemning Egypt, Sharath Jason Wilson coached him through his emotions. Please join us in the comments-encouraging Egypt ...

Verbal Bullying: Never Give Words Power Over You!
God bless you brothers and the work you’re doing with these beautiful young boys 🙏🏾
Shit that was a great analogy ❤
Way he delivered the first speech
My father won't stop bullying me and my mom who calls herself a Christian is influencing him. 😢🙏
I'm curious, where is this martial arts school located?
I wish I had this teacher growing up.
Waiting for the toxic femininity to bombard this post and tell us how this man should let this boy quit and change his gender lmaoooo stay in your lane women youre too weak for our lives
Ase'❤️🙏🏽
these videos are powerful and beautiful because of the lessons of manhood, brotherly love, respect, and wisdom on full display. To see our kiddos get this teaching and receiving the message that they are worthy of love and respect brings me to tears because they deserve to know they ARE worthy, they ARE powerful, THEY ARE LOVED. Amen. 🙏🏾
im 42... Thank you
We have a mental mechanism called displacement. The young man in this video is being bullied outside of the dojo. By not having the confidence nor the courage to stand up for himself and defend himself, he's displacing his pent-up anger on those who are trying to help him. By him doing this, he's not addressing his issues. This young man needs strong, bold, and courageous roll models, and he has them in this dojo. Encourage this young man to open up and let him know he's in a safe place, emotionally, mentally, psychologically, psychically, and spiritually 🙏 Ask him if his bully is in his family or not.
Beautiful. God's Love and Blessings 🙌 ✝️ 💜.
Better to cry in the dojo with your coach and your team, than crying alone after being bullied.
Thank you for helping these young men. He's going to grow up able to process his feelings in a healthy way and teach those lessons to his own friends and family. You're doing good in the world. Keep it up! 🎉
I'm missed that much. So glad that tgis young man have such an example and support. Because in other case - you will be having that anger and point that on close one's. All as Master said.
I could have really used this lesson when I was younger.
These videos are like therapy to me. They always bring to mind something from long ago that I need to look at with a fresh set if eyes. Thank you!
This fuckimg dude for president...I'm not joking. Wow. As a father of two. Fucking wow. That's how it's done.
These kids need strong masculine role models in their lives. Well done sirs.
Thank you for putting these videos together!
Cute kid
Man needs to be teaching all across the country. This is what young men need to learn
Very impressive great job 👏🏿
I'm wondering if the environment is part of the issue. That kid needs one on one training without an audience. He is probably concerned about how he looks in front of his peers and failing. Force is one thing but technique is another.
This man needs to be teaching a nation of men, not just a classroom. I even appreciate what he has spoke. Thank you. Thank you so much. You have even raised my conscious awareness. Even more than what it already was on how to use fatherly skills to uplift. The child in Sajay meaningful way without any type of degrading him or anmaking him. Feel a certain why or any of that Pat yourself on the back. Anybody anybody watching watch it over and over and wise up and help Our future
What city are you guys in?
Per the website Detroit
this is great! thanks for sharing this lesson.
Great job
Amazing work you people are doing! Thank you. Wish I had something like this in my childhood.
Great work- Many folk are conditioned that anger is an unacceptable emotion. The fear is not always of those who cause it, but the fear of feeling/expressing anger itself. The key, as described in this video, is to get used to feeling it, and expressing/directing it in a healthy way. If parents are equally passive, these beliefs can be passed down. I hope that’s considered also to break the cycle.
awesome!
I would really love to see this become an international movement. The UK could do with something like this.
Very good teaching young men how to handle their emotions and stand up for themselves like real men!
❤😢🤗 Bless him🙏🏾 Boys become Men and without the right guidance Men end up in prison for not learning how to be a Strong & Humble Boy. #Sensei🛐
How come every time I watch one of these clips someone starts slicing onions. Respect!
Me too but joyful, loving tears.
Amazing work 🙏
Super .... Good job master....
Just a question is there classes for young adults such as 18 through 25
Not currently.
I have not cried in years and have no anger issues great family and career. I think that was a blanket statement. I still have emotions like everyone else
Brother, I suggest my book to you, you will praise the Lord for it. It's titled: Myths and blind spots in the fighting arts' world. - After the Bible, it's the next "good book" for you! -God bless you more!
Im crying, this guy has and will change generations of kids.
Your work is wonderful. How to spread it around the world? Is required!
This is why humanity needs religion. Mostly this religion.
I wish the camera wasn't so close to the kid and I wish it didn't move around so much. It probably distracts the kids, and might subsequently cause them to lose track of their thoughts and emotions. It gives, reality tv vibes which I'm sure is unintentional. But yeah, I'd be invested in this kid learning a hard lesson even if the camera didn't move so frequently.
Yeah we’re never taught to truly control our emotions and it gets scary letting it out. As a woman I wish I could’ve had someone like this to teach me because it literally paralyzed me from living my life
This was ABSOLUTELY POWERFUL!!!!
After the ball lesson it is ok to give the kid some silence to let his body and brain process that new information. Other than that, this is so perfect. So many kids need this guidance. ❤
He said grab me with assertiveness & he hugged him 🥺🥺 sweet boy
Great teaching! I do have a question. Why did he say "zeus", if I am hearing correctly?
