Nut was 1 3/16" or 30mm . I torqued the nut to 35 ft lbs that might not be right. It might the closer to 50? Can't find a spec online. Leave a comment if you know. Of course I found this thread after I had done it myself with some good pics: www.irv2.com/forums/f297/steering-wheel-adjustment-very-easy-576648.html

I DO NOT HAVE EXPEREINCE WITH LONG TERM DURABILITY OF THIS CAMERA SYSTEM! This is just my initial install and first ride. Seems good for the price if it hold up to the elements. Certainly cheaper than the INNOVV K3 I had installed on my last bike. www.amazon.com/dp/B07QB6Q3C5?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Testing OpenVR Motion Compensation using VR Controller (DOF P3 Motion Sim)
zhlédnutí 704Před rokem
I had previously tried motion compensation and it wasn't a great experience. I looked into the WitMotion gyro sensor and wanted to test the software again before buying it. I think it will work well enough as I intend to mount the sensor unit lower on the frame. In my test configuration the Quest controller was susceptible to undesired movement due to the DOF frame not being 100% rigid. I spent...
DOF Reality P3 GoPro View of Motion Platform

Testing out a new camera angle under the platform to show the degree of movement while driving. After managing not to crash during this I realize overlaying a G force map over the video might be really cool. Looking into it and will hopefully get some more stuff up with the DOF Reality P3 soon.

While not my favorite truck for deliveries, it probably sound the best of the bunch. A little look at a typical delivery and some sounds from the N14 in the T800. Vertical video from the iphone sitting in my shirt pocket.

I believe the man who used to make them passed away. I do not think they are for sale any longer.
Han observado, como los beeman chief, al disparar, se mueve el cerrojo.y al parecer no hay fuga de aire.
What video software did you use to view the footage?
I pulled the SD card to use on my computer. Whatever media player you have installed.
Great catches and awesome video
Omg, are you kidding me? I fng love it😮😮
You didn't mention it but I assume that when you pull off the steering wheel the shaft is grooved and you just centered the steering wheel and hopefully it aligned with the grooves when positioned correctly.
Yes, the shaft was splined. Not two flats held with friction. This made it much easier to take off.
@@JoshBelowKneeI hate how the steering shaft from the steering box to the fire wall has a slot so it can only go one way but then then it’s set to be what ever which way from the steering wheel
No no no
What?
Now this is awesome josh bologna
Thank you for your continuing support in this matter, Landon.
Does it records while the 0hone was off during motorcycle operation?
Yes, it is completely independent of a phone connection. It has an onboard micro sd card that it records all files to. It turns on and starts recording when I turn the ignition on and stops recording/shuts down when I turn the ignition off.
This was actually really nice to watch. Obviously, you've been playing for a while and have got to grips with the 'jank' and physics of the game. Your final birdhouse piece was one of the best put together I've seen :) I look forward to more of your vrkshop videos!
I only have a little over 10 hrs. The jank does have a bit of a learning curve. It can certainly be off putting but you adapt to the limitations and get better. Need to search to see if I can get the native game window in a higher fov. Quest 3 has some odd cropping in steam vr mirror (hence the squished 9:16 aspect). Certainly takes a bit of time making videos but it's cool to share the pov. I'm sure you know all about it. 😄
I was never able to get the quest to work with motion compensation. The view plain would always pull away from the face hard to describe
Thank you for this. It looks like it might be just what I want to "hide" a small front/back camera setup on my scooter in Philippines.

Crossman Premier Ultra Magnum Domed 14.3 grain
Very interesting stuff m8. I ordered my P3 2 weeks ago. Hopefully it will come now soon. There was a QC issue with the SFU’s. Better safe than sorry and the guys checking everything as they do before shipping out. I did buy the WitMotion already and got it laying here to get mounted. I seen other tubers mounting them on the lower frame in between their legs. I do wonder though if that will be sensitive/accurate enough. In the end it should counter adjust the image based on the movement of your head in the xyz space. So I was thinking of mounting it to the back of the chair as close as possible to my head for that. Will let you know how that goes once all comes in and I build it up. Exciting times
I mounted my WitMotion sensor on my lower frame. I used a combo of double sided adhesive and multiple zip ties with small standoffs for the ties. It is recommended to not use zip ties but my setup is not going to move unless it is hit by a user very very hard. It seems to be plenty sensitive enough to accurately track the motion. I was worried about having to mount it higher too. I'm not sure if it's the location but I had to do a custom offset in the software that's not in the guides I've seen to eliminate motion in the vertical axis during acceleration/deceleration. I still have all my video files I filmed many months ago. I'll need to see if I can edit it together. I think I did some stuff on the motion comp setup.
Yeah been reading about the offset settings and also in case you mount the orientation different than expected in the software you even need to negatively do the offset. To be honest, I personally like the explorer diy kind of stuff on top of assembling the whole thing. For me it is part of the entertainment of having such a platform. As said, will keep you posted on my findings once I got the thing setup. Perhaps one day we can compare notes ;)
Oh man, I’m feeling honored you did this. Thanks man. Keep up the works. The wife wants it in the living room…. I know…right. I wanted it in the attic lol
Haha That almost sound the reverse of expected. If you have Facebook you can find other helpful people and ideas here: facebook.com/groups/1858593921047822
Hey Joshua. Cool video. I’m eyeballing the P3 and got a little question for you if you care to answer of course ;) I noticed you are really close to the wall and was wondering if you ever hit it when the yaw or roll goes to it’s max. In other words, could you do me a favor and get me some measurements (metric) what the absolute minimum is what you need in space, front to back, left to right? (I will be mounting a hotas warthog on the right and throttle on the left as well) Thanks in advance

Tell us about making your own suppressor there!.
You can see my reply to the other comment here for some links. Just made something in Fusion 360 and printed it.
This is a nice little gun. I love the fiber optic sights on it. Hey, where did you get your suppressor? Thanks for posting.
Was the first thing I designed and made on a 3d Printer. Just printed the insert as one piece and used a section of PVC for the outer sleeve. I oversized the mating portion and just printed a sleeve that fits over the barrel to interface with the suppressor. drive.google.com/file/d/1PVslS1VzD1hU-k0aid_ClaggQNtWla9L/view Here's some more of the gun from a year ago with the 4x32 on it still: www.reddit.com/r/airgunsinternational/comments/qd74jv/windy_evening_plinking/
It’s crazy seeing it all there on one screen. How the rig reacts compared to the game it’s pretty neat

How do you get your traction from sliding all over the place? I feel like I turned off but still wouldn't get this good of traction
Sorry for the late reply (I never got a notification it seems) Do you mean in DR2 or the Yaw in the P3?

That's bad news for the illegals hiding in the back
Thanks for sharing.
Looks more like he pulled the brakes too quickly to me. If you yank the brakes too fast you won't get any flair. If he had flared too high he would have slowed and leveled off then dropped the last few feet. It didn't look like his decent slowed at all.
Ouch
do they or anyone sell this or something that works

THANKS I have been looking to make these....those seem WAY better than I was going to build!
Where can these be bought?
Well you catch more wind ! Is it usefully?
