Figure is an AI Robotics company building general purpose humanoid robots. We are excited to officially unveil the Figure 01 robot and demonstrate dynamic bipedal walking - a feat that our team was able to accomplish in 12 months. Our goal is to develop a robot that moves through the world in a natural human-like way to enable the robot to work successfully in many human environments.

He sounds depressed
nah that looks very pre-programmed
Oh that's awesome! I love OpenAI's way and directions for their AI this robot with OpenAI is just exciting Wait whoaaaaaaaaaa that's amazing
Fluid movements 😲
Soo did robot made coffee or coffee maker? Or it’s simply fashionable today not to make sense anymore…
The voice is so realistic
Whose voice is the robot modeled after? Sounds a bit like Rob Lowe.
Can he move slower? It was going too fast, I had to pause the video
ตัวนี้ดุวะตาเพธเหีมยแน้ตาเทียมข้างใหนวะไอ้ขันชีนี้หว่ากู้สะสารเพธผู้ใด้แล้ว
Smash, next question
… next thing u know , thing says scratch my back sit down and don’t move! 😊
much too slow in 10 years it's still there 😢
This is so fascinating yet sinister, its like watching a sci-fi movie buts its got that sinking feeling attached because its actually real-
Detroit: Become Human will be possible in 10 years
Pro tip, if Musk don't like it - it's a breach. Maybe yet to happen, but still yet... "closed AI" = goberment backdoor
do you want skynet because this is how you get skynet
This is not sci-fi. A machine is bound by its code. It cannot feel nor have free will. It cannot act outside of its code. Even the bugs or errors are failures to execute the code, not stepping outside of it. AI as well, it uses training data within the boundaries of its code to determine its actions. If the code prohibits something, than no machine will ever do that.
Gonna start saving up for one of these in 5 years
Only 522 comments so far. Amazing figure one, kinda scary, makes me wonder what will be the first car that fails and was fully built by figure 01. But than again, at some point, I hope, they'll be safer than humans building it. Good job little AI, what a time to be alive. Hopefully in the next 50 years we'll figure out what we, humans, can do, since robots will be able to do all jobs..
But is the human form the most efficient design for future implementations?
It kinda looks like Iron Man
dude...imagine Iron Man suits before GTA 6...(HINT HINT) definitely not possible and not being designed by me and others...
This robot sounds like Rich Roll
1:48 anyone knows why he did that with the voice?
Another Tinman is out, yeah yeah can they do some serious work or will they as I suspect replace humans in everyday jobs so that a few oligarchs can make more bucks?!!!
It's slow but it's eternal 24/7 working so if it's half as slow as a person it still gets more work done no insurance or super or wages it's so epic everything gonna get sooooo cheap ❤❤❤❤❤
José used to be way faster than the new guy
Espectcular.
This company will defunct in less than 10 years. This robot looks amateur compared with dozen other robots from other established company
There goes my job in a year or two 😢. They better give universal basic income
Automotive manufacturing salaries in Germany (where labor is scarce!) are $60K wages, probably another $10K+ in benefits, etc. And, if you hope to pay-back a robot's cost in 5 years, that robot has worked as much as a human would in 21 years... worth $1.5 Million. So, even if Figure 01 gets things done 20 TIMES slower than us, it would still be a cost-effective replacement for labor, if the robot is priced at $75,000. It'll be cheaper than that, and each iteration of the A.I. will make it work faster, on a wider diversity of tasks. This is almost ripe to trigger an explosion of industry. Look at how fast Unitree's G1 Humanoid Robot moves! And their precision soldering, at the end of the demo video, is a yawning mouth of omens barreling toward us.
Just imagine all NPC‘s in GTA 6 Chat GPT in their heads
The video before with the dishes, the robot worked very fast, the task was at least as complicated, as this one, i think you are faking Videos, to create hype and/or head Start to your competitors
Skynet
Nice coffee demo. Ever heard of Immersive Translate?? It is a tool with meticulously crafted prompts, that allows translations in the technology field become more accurate and professional.
Super impressive, can’t wait to see it in 5 years. Ever heard of Immersive Translate?? It is a tool with meticulously crafted prompts, that allows translations in the technology field become more accurate and professional.
Only a matter of time, thanks for the update. Ever heard of Immersive Translate?? It is a tool with meticulously crafted prompts, that allows translations in the technology field become more accurate and professional.
Legit Humanoids coming soon. Ever heard of Immersive Translate?? It is a tool with meticulously crafted prompts, that allows translations in the technology field become more accurate and professional.
Seeing this makes me realize, that we still have a very long way to go
I'm currently taking an AI course and this video was recommended to watch. I'm 63 years old. The world is changing before our eyes, but I'm going to be ready for the change as it comes. We are still behind other countries. Believe it or not, AI has been with us. Many many years ago... they just let us public have access, just like they did with the internet in the 90s. I can't help but wonder if is this what the bible means by forbidden fruit and the tree of knowledge.
Praticamente un robot bradipo😂
Look it @ 2X
Trained on Joe Biden? Wake me up when they’re ready.
y’all all think it’s cool but js wait till it stops listening to what we tell it to do. the only reason why people create robots is because they are have a need to behold power and create life like a god, they want their egos to be fed. and the fact that y’all think this is “FaSCiNatiNG🤓”and not creepy just shows how fucked we really are. congrats guys we have created a dystopia!!
Next step is to “correct” human existence!!
Mentre guardavo il video mi sono addormentato talmente era lento. 😴😴😴😴
Majority of the global population will not have jobs by the end of this decade.
not good enough wait 10- 20 years from now on
Myles Dyson is that you?
