Sorry, but after watching Karl Urban in Dredd 3D i just can't take the Stallone version serious any more. However, i have to give Sly credits here for his stone face during this movie. I would have laughed my ass of in every other scene while shooting this movie.

Did people have an issue with this adaptation back then? This is arguably more loyal to the comic than the Keith Urban movie. 😂

I'm surprised that they left this shot 0:23 as is in the final cut where you can clearly see one of the crew members turning his head on the right side of the screen. But maybe it's just a case of "Oh the audience won't see it anyway because the big picture screen's gonna dark as sh*t anyway".

Dredd 2012 is 100 times better.This one is half A$$ comedy.

I love the movie when it came out. Wasn't my favorite. I've always been able to appreciate the uniqueness of this film. However, stallone did blow it. He admits it. Should have left the comedy out of it and made it darker. Could have been a little bit. Like Cobra. At least the cult feel of it. Then I got away from it when movies changed. But now after going back to it and revisiting it, I realized it's actually an underrated film. For whatever reason, stalone gets tons of hate. By far not his best performance but with that said a very different type of character. Looking back hindsight's 2020 but I actually think he does a solid job. For sure. Some overacting moments but it is a comic book. Special effects were before their time. Fun. Entertaining some funny parts and action packed. All in all you really can't complain.

There is so much wrong in this scene, it's actually fascinating. I like how when the rookie wants to clear the room and gets immediatly shot, Sly (after jumping into a room blindly guns blazing himself) yells "No!" - as if to say "No, you don't have the plot armor as I do and I've red the script, you will get ki11ed" 😂

Just because you are not in the effective range, doesn't mean you are safe. Yep, he knows what he's doing 😂
