Cool and this was such a blast to race. Longest race i've ever done. Still a lot to learn when it comes to nitro racing but a blast.
What do you have to dremel to fit the Arrma gear ? Does that also make it so there's no need to dremel the arm to clear the spur gear?
The top of the transmission has to be dremeled to clear the carb. Yes you still have to dremel the arm as well, but you can leave more meat on the arm.

@@DirtConcept I’ve gone and watched and ran my old cars there during the week just playing around and the track layout last year that had the middle hump and weird angle to the back corner was hard for me to drive. This looks much easier for me to drive for sure

What percentage nitro fuel do you use for that engine?
TNR 30% nitro.

I just bought the adjustable servo horn. How do you like it and what is the effect on your car? What is your setting on the horn 17mm? I will appreciate your thoughts. I enjoy your videos about mtc2r and R1 motor
I use a servo horn setting of 17.0-17.5mm. A taller servo horn will make the steering more responsive. A shorter servo horn will need more EPA to be used on the transmitter to reach the same length of travel. This means that a taller servo horn will feel more responsive, but a shorter one will be less responsive, and thus, the car becomes easier and more forgiving to drive.

This video is super helpful as I am getting into the hobby and starting with an MSB1. Forgive the basic question but what wire are you using, and connectors? It looks super clean and I am going for a similar approach.
