      Yes there are some on their city site as well as with realtors. Residential lots are about $50,000 but that is just for the land. You need to put in water, elec, sewer and other services, then build your home.

    I recall that at one time, Dorothy used to get letters from overseas asking in there were lonely cowboys who would like a wife or girlfriend. I wonder if this is still happening or if the letters have stopped coming and when the last letter came.

    • @livinginalbertanow
      @livinginalbertanow Před 16 dny

      This was back in the early 50s. A news article was published in a Toronto newspaper about the lonely cowboys in Dinosaur Valley. A NY magazine picked up the article and republished and yes, the post office was flooded. Only one eligible bachelor got to meet one of the women, as she was flown in by the magazine. As it turns out the couple didn't marry.

    I am against this nature conservancy entirely. Look, land has to be worked and CROPPED to assist in feeding a hungry world. The grasslands were always well taken care of by cattlemen going back to the days of the first ship landing at Plymouth Rock. The best environmentalists and animal care people ARE cattlemen. Some land must be cropped for wheat and other foods. Some marsh land MUST BE DRAINED for more land cultivation to grow more food yet. Lord knows we have enough starving people already. Allowing easements for the nature conservancy is the first step toward communism just like the former Soviet Union. Some so called flora and other vegetations are noxious weeds that have to be removed so that proper healthy grasses, and alfalfa can be grown so that it will be healthy eating for cattle which in turn provides healthy meats for human consumption. The Canadian prairies were always one of the most productive regions in the world. So of what use is the nature conservancy and other baloney environment groups are to farmers and ranchers who for 200 plus years have been practising good environment works in the first place? Allowing the easement on private land violates free enterprise because all of a sudden a farmer cannot use all his land as the way he sees fit to use it. I read about the nature conservancy, their co-operation with false university studies, backed up by their ass backwards satellites in space and I conclude that this video and others like it is a cheap veneer of propoganda sloganeering. These environment groups are anti-farming and anti small business. Nature Conservancy of Canada and Ducks Unlimited, keep your asses in national and provincial parks, okay!

      @livinginalbertanow Před 25 dny

      Ralph Thrall III, chief executive officer and owner of the McIntyre Ranch, says the agreement will establish a conservation easement on the ranch that will preserve it forever. “The process has been very rewarding and this is a win-win agreement, that will have little impact on how the ranch is operated,” Thrall said who is a Cattleman on the historic ranch.
