Hello Ryan James! Hope you're doing well! Just want to let you know that 18 years later and the Battlefront II 2005 community is still going strong! A modder by the name ForceMaster just released a Matrix mod and it has a functioning 360° stop-motion camera system! He is also making an Open World map with objectives you can pick by exploring. His goal is to turn the game into a game engine. He is not the only one with that goal, I myself have made a total of 154 mods for BF2 in the last 2 years! And every once in a while there is still new groundbreaking technology that the modding community has invented!

hey, loved the series, am kinda late to this whole thing but I just wanted to say that am big fan of your work and what it represents for the battlefront community. as one of those few remaining youtubers that want to carry the classic battlefront torch, I would love to know how you did the camera work on the series and how you got the npc's to stay and/or shoot. am guessing you used developer tools (considering how closely it resembled the camera work on the game cut scenes) and moded some of the maps to make the scenes work. as far as I know you might be the last person left that has this knowledge and I hope that you might be able to pass it on for the future. again thanks for everything 🙏

I had so many people telling me "Mocap/voice acting in games comes nowhere near the high standards of actual real cinema". I just show them this clip and this makes them shut up.

Yeah it's nowhere like the TV show

Awesome. The fact they have to imagine everything that's supposed to be in the scene makes it more impressive of an acting job than those on the live action HBO show. (Even though the show's actors still have to ignore the cameras and such). I think the show is okay, but the character interpretations don't hold a candle to the mo-cap actors' versions. Interaction between Bill and Ellie was fun in the game, too bad we got none of that in the show. I know it's a different medium and I knew changes would probably be made, but, it's hard to think of the show's versions as these characters. That wasn't Tess and that wasn't Bill. I guess I'll just have to remember it's just an Alt Universe version, heh.

You are a true inspiration of mine since I was young. ACA was my favorite CZcams series and Uncharted 4 ended up becoming my favorite game ever. It was really cool to see your passion and talent come full circle.

The Bill actor’s facial expressions are MUCH better than the animation captured although it lacked a little depth of the severity and history of the situation.
