zhlédnutí 2,4KPřed 6 měsíci
The real 1969 AMC SC/Rambler popped up for sale and we had to go and see it. Comment if you want me to get you in touch with the owner. It is real SC/Rambler and observed by me down to the matching numbers behind the steering box, trunk shock plate, correct original vin and door tag rivets, 635 sun tach, factory correct ram air pieces and original hood scoop plus many more clues. It's as real a...

1969 Exaust Tips AMC AMX and SC/Rambler
Bought a few things from you. Waiting on 70 amx grill 😊
Never thought to use a leaf blower 😮 cool
Thank you
I purchased an AMX new. The valve covers on mine were bright shiny chrome. I still have them in a box somewhere.
This car needs to be saved
Oh definitely!
So bad ass.i love your products I have nos pieces that I have compared to items I've bought from you really no difference thanks for doing what you do it really makes a difference to us AMC enthusiasts.

The ones in the middle look like the ones. Can’t wait to check them out tomorrow
Thank you very much
Look pretty close!
Nice Alex, another well needed part. Suggestion for video editing, I would lose the background music when you are talking so it’s better to hear you. 😊
Thank you!
They look great ! See you tomorrow
Thank you Ron
Think this is an imposter. Did not see they factory rear axle torque links. And the fender lips around the wheelwells are not don't know how to say what I want to say. The fender lips should be pounded in to allow for wide tire clearance from the factory. Think it is a run of the mill American nothing more. The vin tag should say special for the paint color.
It's as real as it gets.
I really hope these guys restore it to original condition. 1512 produced and not too many left. So, this is NOT a million made Chevrolet. Any time you see one of these you pray it is in good hands.
I have 3 of them
Alex you should do a road trip to Cordova Illinois this year to the all amc weekend. Huge swap meet, car show, and amc drag races
I could’ve bought one almost identical to this one down to gold fenders, off of a farm outside of moline Illinois about 25 years ago. Sadly tge car was too rusty for what I was willing to pay.
I’d absolutely love to do this or an actual/rambler type hood scoop you my son’s 76 hornet x
Yes, it will be sweet!
Hi Alex, Thad Shumaker from Facebook and the amc pages. Just found your CZcams channel. Subscribed
Diesel and pea gravel is the hot tip, then shake.

Great discussion. Very informative.
Save her ! Thx Alex
Definitely!
Thx Alex !! 😊
I was just wondering if the fuel sending unit for a AMX or a Javelin is the same as an American. They look very similar.
This one is for American.
Ok
Looks like sc rambler front clip anyway. Why is the rest of it a completely different color?

Thanks COOP ...

Thanks COOP ...
Thank you
Thanks for the AMC V-8 Content SC Rambler Thanks COOP the WiSeNhEiMeR from Richmond, INDIANA ...
More AMC content is coming.
That thing looks pretty solid. I’ll take the steering wheel. 😊
Okay!
What’s the asking price?
I think it's $9K
Good find. Looks suspicious to me though. Run down the V.IN. and the door tag. At the worst, you've found a decent Rogue. Cheers
The owner checked the Vin with PD. I know previous owner who had it for years as well. Needs a lot of work for sure. By the way, this is actual old AMC dealership where it was filmed.
It is a real deal SCrambler, I looked at it in person.
Yes
Is it a "Real" S/C, or a 69 Rambler with S/C parts put on it, that tail panel does not look right? Inquiring minds want to know.
It is real and verified by me down to the matching numbers behind the steering box, trunk shock plate, correct original vin and door tag rivets, 635 sun tach, factory correct ram air pieces and original hood scoop plus many more clues. It's as real as it gets.
@@alexgorelik8781that is good to know, the color, and lettering/emblem on the tail panel looked suspect, but if you verified it, then I believe.
Not a fan of the frame re-inforcement right behind the trans crossmember. Why are they there?
I was just showing the condition, not sure on the history but I think it was raced, the rear end gears 4:10
Did it have the rear torque links?
I did not see them
The brackets were factory welded on the inside of the DS rail, I believe the PS was there it just had some undercoating over top of the holes. Not sure if he had the actual torque links because someone had put slapper bars on it at one time.
Nice score Alex.
Thank you
F--ing lame music 😂
Thank you for feedback!
Wish I could have got a better look at that throw out brgs. Great video!
Thank you!
JACKPOT
I hope)
100/100 Javelin!!
Lot's of Javelins for sure. Thank you for your support!
Liked the clip, thanks for showing it... Of all things, here in Jan. '24, I bought a running and driving 1973 AMC Hornet Sportabout Gucci X 258 I6, tilt steering, sport steering wheel, mag like wheels, roof rack, front disk brakes, rust and dent free, Independent reclining front seats..... ............... 😁 🇺🇸 ...............
AMC definitely a fun hobby to have and good group of folks.
Good to know that they're available! Thanks, Alex. 👍
Thank you
So much spare room under the hood for super chargers and turbos. What awesome cars
Yes, they are a lot of fun
We use to have a “ AMC” dealership in Wilkes Barre,Pa. I remember going down there in the early 1970’s and looking at the new cars, as well as the used trade in models of the Javelins and AMX’s.
Good times for sure, they are all gone, so sad.
@@alexgorelik8781 I have 3 different friends that own a 1968,1969 and a 1970 AMX. All are cool cars.
They are having show this year 2024 if someone wants to join. Just google the date
