I have a question. Plastics are polluting the ocean and they don't biodegrade but they float, right? So why don't they just tie them all together and create floating islands that people can build on in the water?

Even if they take out 100 Tons every Day ... there is still no Industrial Process that sorts the Garbage and recycles it efficiently !! They burn it or make cheap Roads or Bricks A big Show that only burns Money with a very small Result

There should be a change in the 'just throw away on the street' mentality in those countries. Especially India, pakistan etc. I simply cannot understand why the 'rich' west is pouring Billions into the poor countries the last 30 years and they havent setup a normal cleaning system with trash cans, garbage trucks etc.. one of the reasons why people throw everyhing on the streets because there is simply no pickup system with garbage. Just spend some money on that, it will be soo much better for human, animals and enviroment.
