I know this is a comedy routine, but this is a totally false dichotomy. Not everyone that doesn't have some lofty career ambition is lazy, boring, or whatever other epithet you want to use. I'd guess at least 70 percent of people out there are conscientious workers with hobbies, interests, and a sense of purpose in their lives AND who could easily give up the rat race to be a stay-at-home parent who is both interesting and has a rich and fulfilling life outside of their vocation. The fact is most people have to work boring but necessary jobs. You don't have to be a dullard or lazy to not want to do those jobs should the opportunity arise to be a stay-at-home Dad. Another point: no one would say this about a woman who is really happy to be a stay-at-home parent, so Taylor is being sexist too.

1. Medicine should do better to believe people are having a problem. 2. There should be better mental health emergency workers and services. I think we'd save more lives both recognizing physical health concerns and helping people to not ruin their lives because braining is also hard even when it works "right."
