@@PeakPerformanceReviews Glad you agree. like it LOOKS good but a setup frame like this is more for pro drivers who use a simulator to practice like Max Verstappen. in which case having it be as close as possible to the car is very important, where the wheel and pedals would be set up by the team and the frame would be on some 6DOF Motion Frame

Get this you won’t be disappointed it’s so so good as a fast road car and daily. Personally I like this Blue and that maroon/red type metallic (forgot the name of colour) which colour are you thinking?

@PeakPerformanceReviews Ho mate thanks for getting back to me well Mrs likes Yellow I like blue with black roof, red with black roof might be the compromise availability is a bit patchy got one dealer with a few but insists their paint protection pack is applied to all their stock cars and wants £450 for it that's cheeky though I qualify for tier 1 discount due to job so £19.5k ish our 23 plate SZL is a good car impressed us enough to look st upgrading to a Sport but want to keep my pants on.

@PeakPerformanceReviews well I don't much care for 0-60 but was mightily impressed with the pull in 3rd 4th 5th and it rode really well for a hot ish hatch.

Yeah tbf in my defence when I was saying the words I thought it was going to be haha I did that intro and filmed for about 20-30 mins before re starting it up and thought it would be a cold start haha. Not sure how much longer I would have had to have left it lol 😂

Yeah it can, the weight of the person normally gives it enough grip. Also once the rears get a little worn which isn’t hard it gains grip from the natural roughness it gets

If I had to rate it, 6.5-7 out of 10, if you’re ok with a sporty ride you’ll have no problems. For someone like me I’d rate it more like 7.5-8.5 because I like cars like that. The seats are small but not tiny, I think they’d accommodate bigger person that me well enough but if your 6 ft 2+ and a typical build at that size it would be tighter for sure l

@@PeakPerformanceReviews Thanks for your answer. The car is for my wife for a daily use. And we cannot decide between Suzuki Swift Sport Hybrid manual with 129HP or Mazda 2 Homura eskyactive 90HP. We want small car for city use but with proper 4 cilinders, not todays 3 cilinder cars. This is the last chance to get one that is new, and both are Japanese so reliable. I tried sitting in this swift and the seats felt small for me (6ft2 around 100KG). Mazsa feels more premium inside, but Swift is more atractive from outside. I do not know what to choose.

Honestly I’ve driven both and the Swift is a much quicker and more fun car to drive. Not taking anything away from the Mazda as I see what your saying but this little thing is properly rapid and the chassis is more akin to a 30-40k hot hatch

I never said it was hence the question mark in the title, I’m asking the question. In a straight line yep no doubt, on track it’s probably the best overall hot hatch ever. Some good AWD cars have close the gap now mind. I have a RS3 so I love them too, mines 500bhp and yep no doubt in a straight line no FL5 even tuned on the stock turbo would come mildly close

No honestly I get what you’re saying and understood what you meant to get across for sure, I tend to agree. Honda and others are getting to the top of the realms of what is possible for a FWD car tbh. AWD is needed for anything 400bhp+ I think now

Some people want a more grown up look. I myself would never drive an fk8 cause of that reason.

@@jimmyvu7533 Meh, each to their own I suppose but I like my cars to look unique. I appreciate some people can’t get past the design of the FK8 but it’s a real shame as it’s a wonderful machine. The way I see it, life’s too short for me to care about what people think when they see the FK8 on the road. If banality is your thing why don’t you look at the FK8 model sans spoiler?

@highlander1518 i tend to personally agree. I’m not saying so much it shouldn’t be £50k as pricing is very different now on new cars full stop but it is pretty pricey. That’s the way I see it though, 30k for a very good facelifted FK8 and it’s within a micro fraction of the quality in general

@jimmy for sure the FK8 didn’t appeal to plenty where are this FL5 design is a much more “safe” a design for the masses. The FK8 was wild looking but for a hot hatch i personally did prefer it. This being said I like the FL5’s looks and I have no issues with it at all. Interior is a huge improvement on an already decent interior imo 🙌

I am the same though highlander personally, looks like a racecar for the road, wild but overall eye catching I think …. Not to everyone’s taste

I used to but I’m so used to it now as 75-85% of new cars now have them 😝 it is mad how it changed so fast but I do like the older school look myself too in general

The power is definitely up, they just don’t really disclose it properly, so that makes up in the power to weight department. You really wouldn’t and don’t feel that weight at all. As for the 0-60 there is another video on my channel with this exact car and it does a consistent 7.5 seconds to 60mph. Where the hybrid makes up even more when you won’t ever get told is in 30-70mph pulls, it’s around 1-1.5 seconds faster than the non hybrid model. The reality is yes they do need to conform to constraints but manufacturer has nailed it so well with this 😎

It’s such a great car and absolutely agree with you, the best choice of all of those because it is better in every single department. As you say also the price is amazing, I don’t think there is a better value for car for the money out there. Yep getting 6 seconds flat made me realise you have a hot hatch effectively in that car.
