The prayer that changed my life.
zhlédnutí 106Před 5 lety
Out of all the prayers I've said, there is one that changed my life. It changed the trajectory of my career, the life goals I set for myself, it changed the way I viewed life altogether. This was a bold prayer! But for this prayer to actually work, I had to put aside my own goals and really be up for the challenge of the changes that it required. I'm convinced that anyone who says this prayer a...
did you new one eventually get chewed up and fail too?
@@churchofclaus it’s been over two years and the replacement key fob is still going for me!
This is the most realistic video that I found. I started watching about halfway into the destruction of my old key fob and thought that I had to be missing something. But nope. Stupid glue. And thanks for helping me through the second half of the destruction of my old key fob lol
Glad this video helped you!
Shaving down the plastic on the inside with a Dremmel made the key flip work function work perfectly. I was losing my mind trying to figure out why all three of the replacement fobs we've tried wouldn't work. Thank you!
Inside where? on the raised portion the spring clips in to? On the flat portion outside of that circle where the key rubs against the plastic? Thanks
@@robertnichols7131 on the fob version I have, I shaved down the bottom side, I. E. The back of the fob, a/k/a the opposite of the fob buttons.
Thank you for the video - I feel your pain!! I've done this to many keys but never ever this hard!!!
You do know that the key fob has a second screw hidden under the peel-off Hyundai logo?
This thing was a bitch to replace
I have this crap almost all smashed up since it won't open
Thanks mate but what about that transponder chip ? You have to put it in the new shell no ?
yes u do
Oh my Goodness , i saw some videos on youtube making it look so easy, i tore mine apart too to get the circuit board , it was very hard but i got it out with no damage
I replaced 2 fogs for a 2013 Santafe and it was easy as hell. When transfered I dud not transfer the key dectetor chip to the new case, not shown in these videos, so the key would not start my car. i could only remote start. Puzzeled I looked in the old case and saw a small white cover chip had not been transfered. Did the transfer & voila my flip key now works.
Just finished doing a Canadian 2014 Santa Fe, you have to transfer over the transponder chip as well as the circuit board. Was amazingly hard to get apart, key did not fit into new shell properly, had to file down ever so gently, looks awesome! (don't recommend DIYing)
Omg this video helped me out a lot… tyvm!! However I tried the shaving part because my key was sticking and the shaving didn’t work… “But this is still by far the best detailed video and I agree it takes a while to do NOT a 10 min jobs 😂 and with the all the $$ you saved me I can work with the key sticking 😊”
Thank you for sharing your story. Greetings from Recife, Brazil.
Very helpfull. I also struggled with opening the original key fob. But just made the point of my knife very hot and went along the glue lines then it opened
Mine was super hard to open had to use your method. I did see glue like residue on mine maybe that’s why it was so hard. I also had the same problem when pressing the button it was getting stuck. Thank you for the tip of shaving off the excess plastic. Great video
Thank you for sharing that great idea.
did the recovered transmitter work on your car after you assembled the fob cover?
I' did it too and yes... it was tricky.... i use another tools to make it easier to open it... but the pin to swivel the key did not fit on my real old key, so i had to use the old pin that fits correctly on the key hole. thanks for your video
You just saved me so much time! Thank you sir!!!
How do you program it to your car?
He took the entire motherboard out of the old one and just put in in a new shell...no programming necessary.....
It’s not hard to open it watch more videos!!!
Can you send me a link to a good video??
most of them are difficult
It’s not hard to open it see more videos!!!!
I paid almost $100 from Amazon
Thank you! I thought I was doing something wrong. I appreciate your honest video😀
I was given a price of $550 to replace my key at the dealership!
your sound is horrible
What about programming it? Is that easy as well?

Did yours have a chip. I know our videos have it
Key is in Hyundais with this type of key do not have chips. That’s why they’re being stolen left and right.
all canadian fobs have chips so u must transfer that as well
