    To me, it makes sense that the US would have experimented with administering testosterone to young bodybuilders during WWII, like the Germans were rumored to have done. Even if testosterone was not readily available in the early 1940s, I’m certain the army knew about it, and I find it more than reasonable that certain strong young men in the army were given testosterone as an experiment. In short, I believe Reeves was on T, given that he was in the army during WWII, and I believe he was given this opportunity due to his reputation as a young budding bodybuilder. Again, I do not know this for sure, it is just a hunch

    I do not agree that best natty bodybuilders today looks worse than silver era, they look much better! Of course most really good looking guys are on steroids but there are some people with exceptional genetics, tested many times who don't show also any aspects of guys on gear and they are far better that silver era. Let's look for example at a guy from yt also interested in silver era bodybuilding - Hersovyac. We are talking about some guy, who train like as i remember close to 15 years or sth not an international elite natty division guy. And let's transfer him to silver era in time machine. Probably you will replicate silver era photos with him but with better definition a bit, broader shoulders , tinier waist. So there are this natty diamonds today , not many but some who are natty ale look better that silver era and statistically there are more of them that it was in silver era and it makes sense, better knowledge, better training, equipment and so and more ppl interested in bodybuilding so higher chance of getting this diamond in population. Even me, i train 12 years, fortunately i am really short 166 cm with good genetics, and i don't want to sound cocky but critically thinking i would say that i am better looking than most guys on photos of silver era. Lover bf, better definition, and definitely much better shoulders - i knew that if i want to achieve this great shoulders of gear guys as natty i need to put much more work on shoulders than anyone on gear. So to sum up nowadays best natty guys on planet looks far better than best in silver era.

    • @perryscifi
      @perryscifi Před dnem

      And i would say you should be proud, great results for 1 year , imagine what you can achieve in 12 or 20 years!! Im my opinion you have good chest genetics so train this damn shoulders a lot, remember about legs not as many guys. And after years you lose like 1% bf here, 1% bf there and you can achieve for sure silver era look . Personally i am more impressed of this Indian guys - heh they were short, but some of them has great shoulders, they were really jacked and even have chest , generally great looking chest generally started from generally golden era , but bronze was mostly flat . So you can achieve a lot, train, train and train again.

    Whoa man, your channel is great, but you are way wrong on this. Sure if someone is just starting they can do only one exercise per muscle. But after a while if you keep growing bigger you will get lumpy lopsided muscles. When you become more advanced you isolate each striation and each section of each striation. Especially in the chest, lats, and delts. These upper body muscles all are responsible for moving the humerus in a wide variety of angles over a large range of motion. This advice in this video is only good for beginners.

  • @DruNarayan
    @DruNarayan Před dnem

    Even after the 1960’s there were many new techniques developed for hitting every section of every muscle striation. Particularly in the deltoids and quads. Think of the mechanics of a leg extension machine and how it keeps an even amount of tension on the quad throughout the length of the rep. Think of lying on your side on a bench and swinging a dumbbell from the front of you to above you. Or lying face up on a bench and swinging a dumbbell from below to above. I will demonstrate later on with videos of myself working out. The silver age was the greatest, yet they didn’t fully understand the science of working out or dieting correctly. Certain machines make it easier. But even in bodybuilding books I have read, there is a general lack of understanding the mechanical geometry of each joint and how the muscles interact with it throughout the rep. I feel disappointed in the last 30 years. I hate that I have to be the one to teach people this, because I’m not as big as I used to be. So people won’t believe I know what I’m talking about until I bulk up again. I hate that this is what I have to do with my life now. Teaching people about something silly like modern natural bodybuilding. But people deserve to know what they’re missing out on. I owe it to humanity to do this shit even though it’s kind of stupid. Of all the more pressing matters mankind has to attend to- global warming, overpopulation, peace in the Middle East. I have to teach humanity this shit? Ok fine. I’ll do it. The muscles I grow won’t be insanely huge like roid junkies, but they will be shaped noticeably different. Longer, more even, more rounded. Extending into the joints. More flexibility, mobility, a type of muscle that looks as if you were born bigger.

    -> Start your workout with a big exercise (squat, deadlift, bench press), focus on strength and PRs -> In the middle of the training, do intense and very controlled movements on other important exercises with moderate weight -> End the training with concentrated, nasty, voluminous pump with a shit load of dropsets and so forth There, problem solved. Working miracles for me, and I'm natural. Never knew why the hell you have to choose one. If you think that's too overwhelming for one training session, do one each week. You muscles need stimuli, give it to 'em.

    My aesthetic point of reference is only that of primitive men (and those few tribal groups still remaining in the wild). And all of these didn't have big chests. The modern human being has become vicious, obviously with his tastes too, for example he likes e.g. women with big breasts (and abnormally full lips) and not the Venus de Milo, heavy and 'fat' meat à la Schwarzenegger rather than Apollo Belvedere. The modern story is that of a human being who does not really have a taste for what is truly beautiful and harmonious, but only vice and depravity of aesthetics. And things will get increasingly worse, in the direction of a trans-humanism more and more distant from Attic aesthetics.
