I love this band !!! A big part of my 80's days !!! They opened for Rick Springfield at the Pensacola Civic Center in 1984 or 1985, My memory isn't so good on time frames ! I still enjoy listening to Til' Tuesday now !! Thank you for this video.

As a straight guy who grew up crushing on Aimee, in retrospect, she's only the second hottest "chick" in the band. Prove me wrong. And Joey on keyboards, holy moly, that dude looks like Peter Steele and Glen Danzig went back in time and had a baby together. But in a good way. How did Epic choose to focus only on Aimee when this band was full of eye candy? And let it be stated for the record that Aimee's bass playing is...sadly missed. Like Sting with the Police, there are times I wonder how she sings and plays such singular bass lines at the same time, but that's what separates the til tuesdays from mere figures on a beach, hey-oh.

A stellar example of what great music from the 80's was like. Everyone and everything was unique and had its own voice.

Most of the songs from this appearance never made it to one of their studio albums due to record label execs "not hearing a hit". They are all hits to us Til Tuesday fans. This is a rare find indeed! I saw Aimee Mann in concert in 2024 and she has aged so wonderfully, both in appearance and in vocals and songwriting. What a true gem.

I would love to see a Til Tuesday reunion. Aimee Mann is a great artist but her best work was with the band.

The old lyrics before corporate overlords put words in her mouth. No wonder she stopped doing the song for a long time.

Got curious about this band because these dudes produced Hole's second album (and a bunch of others you've heard of).

THE BEST live Til Tuesday concert ever!

I saw Til Tuesday at the Rathskeller, maybe a year before this video. The acoustics in there are so bad it was hard to tell how good the band was. I remember Aimee though, a striking presence.

This is an incredible time capsule. Im not too surprised things fell apart in 1988. Their music is very much new wave tinged and as such was not really in vogue by the late 1980s. Of course bands evolve and change but theirs changed too much by then. Not to say their 1988 album was bad but didnt really appeal to a larger audience and seemed more acoustic-folk, if i remember
