Hello, im considering buying the SimXpro X80, what do i need to mount a car seat to it?
Seat sliders and attachment points in the car seat to attach the seat sliders too. The X80 has 2 4040 beams where you can attach the seat sliders with t-nuts.

What is the multiplayer on this thing like?
Officially career mode is not multiplayer but there are mods like caRP. I have not tried or looked into that yet. Something i might add on my roadmap
The little that i played, it's a fun game. Great physics! My PC has a hard time running certain things from that game and can take a while to load. Definitely has a lot of potential.
Yup, because of the physics it can really be very demanding. Probably will need to do a RAM transfer 😕

Yes. I changed my config at home a few months back. With me the desktop is ethernet, the PS5 is WiFi. Works.

Hello, How are the pedals attached to the plate of the playseat? Are the original screws of the pedals used for this or are there additional screws that come with the playseat? Thank you for your response.
Afaik attachment bolts were included for both wheelbase and pedals.
Will the t128 be a big (or at least decently noticeable) upgrade from t80?
Yes. There is the difference in technology. The t80 does not feature force feedback while the t128 does and that makes a world of difference. If there is a bit more budget, I would advise to look at second hand sites, you can get a T248 for around 30-40€ more. The steering wheel feels much better in hand, the ffb is much stronger and the pedals are absolutely 10 times better than t128

*IMPORTANT WARNING*: Logitech ( DO NOT ) carry spares or have service centres. I had to throw my gpro wheel and pedals into the bin for the sake of a $2 part that they DONT sell. They DO NOT carry any form spares and even the smallest issue will result in the unit being bricked. Stick to an item with aftersale support and spares.

I just replaced potentiometers with hall sensors in g29. But in general potentiometers were working without any problems since 2020, good enough
It's true. In general they work just fine. Helps if they are kept in a not too dusty environment though.
I have owned the Logitech G Pro wheel and pedals since it's launch and love it but Logitech have not followed through with an F1 type wheel or a Pro shifter all they have added is the adaptor which is something but it's bad practice to not add more to the G Wheel products. Logitech has let us early buyers down big time.
I could not agree more on this. Even if they can't be bothered by creating new steering wheels, it would be nice to have a quick release and button box to fit some standard 70mm steering wheels. Really blows my mind. It's the most reoccurring issue people have with it.

Is there is a big difference between them and t300 ? And is the t300 good for the sf1000 f1 wheel?
The difference is notable yes. It has about 50% more power and is imo also just a bit smoother. Nonetheless T300 is a fine base and if you are planning to upgrade, I would recommend more going to a direct drive. The SF1000 will work on your T300 yes.

Yes, I have info coming from a lot of sources for about every month of 2024. It seems they have taken lessons from Thrustmaster with their T818. Lets just hope it wont be shoved into 2025. More competition on the console-market is really a necessity.

very much appreciate the detailed measurements. Short wheel uprights is good for me! - do you have measurements for the overall length? The website says 125cm but I assume thats the base only, and not inculkding the extended pedal deck length? Also, no issues with the weight of the pedal deck when in use pivoting off one end? no flex under load?
The 125cm is pretty accurate. It all depends of course on how your pedals are angled. I am at 130cm at the tip of the pedal holder (they are positioned completely flat) and have an overhead of about 5 cm of the chair over the frame in the back. No, the pedal deck holds Well BUT you need to take some time to find good positions to attach them. The gaps for the bolts have a bit of manouver room but once you have them set up good and use the max of the attachment points, they are solid.

Im gonna order my new rig next month, (vakantie geld lets gooo) but i rly dont like it when you said this one scratches easily. Also looking into the trak racer tr80 lite and simlab gt1 evo, all around the 400 price, i want it to be black, but not scratch easily :p Thoughts?
Muhahahaha viva vakantiegeld idd!!! 😎 unfortunately its just a structural problem with these types of rigs and the configuration of them. The best way to avoid it is to just make sure everything is not tightened when you do the config and not be lazy (guilty) of thinking you can manage the change in configuration while everything is tight. In theory anodized frames should be better, but from my experience I prefer a thick coat like the one of SimXpro and Simlab. The anodizing is a very thin layer on the frame and scratches will show more easy.

Moza R3 start selling in China on 20.Aug.24 8pm. I cancelled my order because it doesn't support Xbox ACC which I play the most... Sad.

How this wheel compares to thrustmaster tx leather edition? 😂😂
One is available, the other one is not. 🙄 I believe both will be very similar, also in MSRP. The force will also be roughly the same for strength, with the R3 being a bit more fluent in corners. It will be hard to beat the TX though on second hand markets
Hey bud. Tried the quest 2 VR on Iracing. Yes, I know Iracing is the devil. Lol. It works very well but I'm still trying to see if I can get better clarity at distance. Quest 2 is only $200 right now, brand new. Not sure if you've tried the oculus 2 yet.
Nope. Only one I tried was the original PlayStation one but it didn't leave a good taste in my mouth. Unfortunately, I will have to try it again at a certain moment. If you're happy so far with the Q2, I'll try and find one of those. Just don't look forward into testing it🤢😵💫
I could never get it to work with anything but iracing, so don't run out and get one. I'm not running anything like simhub. Strictly iracing because they have all the extra sound input and vr in game. It's not epic but I'm trying to figure out how to get a better picture quality at distances. Not sure if my 3060ti can handle it. Everything close looks awesome but distance is very blurry.

Face/eye tracking is indeed a very good alternative to triples, if you do not have the $$$, space or PC horsepower to feature those. Especially for people playing both driving and (space) flight games, it has uses in both types of games when playing with pancakevision.
Thank you very much for the review. I watched it a couple of times and found a lot of useful information. I want to build a set of GT Omega Prime Lite and NLR ERS3 Elite Reclining Seat. I would like to know your opinion about this set. How does the ERS3 Elite Reclining Seat compare in terms of comfort with RS12 (they are not on sale now)? The price is the same. In reviews, the NLR ERS3 has a more stable backrest. Thanks in advance. (I live in the Antwerp region).
Only tested the ERS1 and not the 3 however, the double recliner does make a big difference imo. If the level of comfort would be similar between 1 and 3, I would rate both very comfortable. I absolutely love the RS12 and had no back issues so far.

Persoonlijk vind ik het wat traag reageren (zit in een donkere ruimte). Zelf gebruik ik nu TrackIR (Aliexpress versie). Dag en nacht verschil. Nadeel, je moet een pet opzetten of koptelefoon. Tobii zou ook heel goed zijn (wel pokkeduur, en je moet het syteem onderaan bevestigen, wat ook geen optie is voor mij. De kat ligt er altijd :D ). Ik spreek alleen uit ervaring met Truck Sim, waarbij je toch wel heel veel links en rechts moet kijken.
Donkere kamer kan idd een factor zijn dat hij wat traag is, maar de framerate ook. Had je een 60fps webcam met setting op 60fps? Ik zal ook andere systemen bekijken en deer verder uittesten. Een petje opzetten, ook al heb ik er in dit filmpje eentje aan, zie ik in de zomer niet zo hard zitten 🤭😅

I have just switched to using Real Head Motion, which is not tracking the drive,r but changes ACC from fixed dashboard with moving horizon to fixed horizon with moving car. I think it’s good for me thus far.
Well you can choose it in the settings. Xi, Amazon or FSB 🤣 I will look into Real Head Motion. Will try to map a lot of the extra options for immersion out there.
Hey, I am currently saving up for a G923 which is around 1500 in my region, going through reviews I am understanding that Moza r5 gives a more emmersed experience but it is 2500. Should I be patient and wait 4 months more of saving or should I stick with the G923?
It is hard to say for me friend. I think they are both good and yes, technically the MOZA is better but you could also be happy with the G923. I can not decide it for you and can only tell you what I think of them. Let us say that the chance that you will buy a R5 and want to upgrade is a lot lower than buying a G923. Perhaps look second hand. See if you can find it cheaper?
@@SimulatedDrivingResource i live in a very isolated area so people don't even have racing wheels, forget them selling it second hand. Thanks for the help, I'll probably go for a MOZA as I am saving up for a wheel as a long investment and am using it more as a way to drive young without risk. If i develop this hobby then I can upgrade the wheels and add shifters etc to MOZA but can't to G923. Thanks again for the help.

hi, since I have the csl dd with load cell pedal set, do you recommend the x challenge? I saw that you managed to mount the 3 pedal set, how? thanks
Yes. Mounted the CSL Elite v2 and and the V3 pedals on it and with some big washers, I was able to hold them in place quite sturdy. The CSL pedals with LC on the other hand may be tricky because the brake will be floating and the pedal base holding the pedals is not that sturdy as the other 2 sets.

Absolutely. Most user-friendly solution to fold and unfold but also the most efficiënt solution for space usage.
