Absolutely sick conversion dude! I've just recently embarked on my own "budget" conversion which includes: 90's era Mapex Mars Series shell pack (12"/16"/22") w/ Remo Silent Strokes & Ddrum Redshot triggers that I packed with furniture grade foam up to about 2-3 inches from the batter heads An old Boom Theory Space Muffins 12"x 4" internal dual zone snare ($65 Reverb score!) An old Roland TD-6V module And Lemon brand cymbals All going into EZD3/SSL Drums/Mikko Drums ect... I also have an old Alesis Trigger I/O that I was using before the TD-6V laying around, and have been pondering about using it as an MIDI expansion into EZD3? The basic Redshot kick trigger overall although has been less than ideal IMO. Probably going to end up building my own internal for that one. Great video tho my man! Cheers!

id done a steeper slope on that low pass with the rea eq , no reason for frequencies as low 5k to b getting reduced. need they air ya feel.

that boost on that midrange sounded so fuckin good , overall good tone shaping 🙏

How many plastic cymbals and mesh-s did you break over the years since you convert this kit into electronic ?

Everything is amazing, i hear only little to much difference between light and hard hits on the Toms, but that is fixable today in EZdrummer 3 to set real dynamics of the tom like on Acoustic.

Gets a bit upset at minute 48 and stops showing up the processing of the kick, no explanation on why he applied or what applied on the kick - he skips it entirely. FX for Room and Plate, 10 seconds on the screen, easy to miss. I would have expected a detailed explanation on the kick in a similar fashion he did for the snare. Good tutorial, but it needs consistency in places.

Nice video btw, i watched it all in one go and will continue to check your videos about guitar eq because i have a serious problem with them, annoying frequencies are always there even if i cut many or very little and the overall balance eq on my guitars are sheet. At 1:34:32 why dont you remove some high frequency boost you created in the instrument bus instead of cutting it in the master out?

Woke up this morning and rather than recording a second cover like I promised myself, I searched youtube for "guitar mixing workflow". I wasn't hopeful, because you usually have to pay for content like that, or they are like you say in 48:00 "download this, turn this, boom, you're a sound engineer". I will watch this many times over and take notes because you're the first person that truly goes the extra mile to help noobs like us understand what things do :D Thanks again!
