BMW blower motor replacement
zhlédnutí 42KPřed 6 lety
Detailed steps for BMW blower motor replacement on a 2007 BMW 525i. There is a lot to take apart but most parts are easy. Only a few steps are a little difficult. My blower started to sound like crickets awhile back and slowly got worse. I put off changing for a long time because it is so buried in the dash. There are some videos or websites that explain the process of getting it out but I want...

The IBS can keep your BMW from starting. It is designed to monitor the battery and save power for starting. For some reason it can also keep the car from starting. Makes no sense to me.

@@Scotford_Maconochie The battery charging system with an IBS is supposed to make batteries last longer and they probably do but when the IBS is disconnected I believe the charging system reverts to the old way of the voltage regulator in the alternator doing all the work. That basic system mite shorten the life of a battery compared to the IBS system but its my belief that it’s not a drastic difference.
