I know I feel you. What's worst I paid $66 when it came out I had high expectations like re2 remake. Can you imagine my disappointment

@@selerim I guess lesson learnt here is: never pre-order or buy a game until 1 year has passed from the game launch along with reading/viewing multiple reviews of it! You usually get it for a cheaper price too 🤭

That whole battle is something else. Micolash running away half the time, those little servants trying to poison you, the skeletons... I'd watched a little of someone else's fight against him, so I was mainly wary of the Ebrietas summon, and the arcane attack from him. But those skeletons hit hard. That's why I backed away whenever they showed up. They look frail, but they can take away huge chunks of your health. I also keep forgetting I have the Beast Roar now, which can knock down humanoid enemies. Very weird fight, and unlike anything else in the game.

Yeah, I was still mastering the mechanics at this point, and this one seemed intimidating. I played it a bit too safe. There is another fight with him coming up soon, though, in another dungeon, and this one is much more difficult, and you have to target the head. And I've gone about 15 rounds with him, and still haven't beat him, even with help. So don't worry, you will see much more of this hound in a few videos, in a tougher form.

You have to unlock him by beating one of Ada's stages with an A ranking.

Not regularly. I had to uninstall the Ape Escape HD port from my PS4, because I needed the space for 'The Evil Within 2'. I have to get a new portable hard drive to supplement my current one, but I still have to get around to doing that. What I'm uploading now is the videos that I already have recorded. So I'm spacing them out in between all the 'Resident Evil' and 'Silent Hill', 'Uncharted', stuff, etc., until I can get that hard drive installed and record more videos. I also haven't gotten a chance to record the original one since then, so that one's at a standstill. -_- I'll get back to it eventually, it's just difficult to do both versions at the same time, since you're essentially playing the same thing, and I have a lot of games that I'm covering right now. The good thing is that some of those games are fairly short (Silent Hill 2, the 'Resident Evil 7' DLCs), so I'll have more time for Ape Escape later on! :-)

Yeah, it was ported to the PS4 a while ago. The only downside is that they used the European version because of copyright issues, and that really changes the mood and atmosphere of the game. :-( Jimmy sounds like he's 30 years old! O_O That's why I'm also doing one with the original version, where I do commentary for it. (Although it started out rough, since that was a while ago, when I was first starting out. I've gotten better at it, I think, since then.) I just don't like the European voice acting. It's too...rough and deep for the characters, imo. -_-
