Hey Eric love your videos and I love your old school cooking I have a dessert for you do you know how to fix butter roll it's called a butter roll my mother used to make it and I don't see a recipe for it all I know is made with dough sugar and butter and it is delicious

Best cookies, and tastiest cookie dough ever! I used 2 sticks of salted butter and 2 sticks of unsalted butter…1/4 teaspoon of course Kosher salt. I left out the butter flavoring, because it’s not needed. I added an extra 1/4 cup of sugar. I used the paddle attachment for the kitchenaid mixer, and creamed the softened butter and sugar for about 10 minutes..stopping twice to scrape bowl down. Added the sifted flour/salt right into the KitchenAid bowl in 1 cup increments..mixing only 10 seconds after each addition..so as not to overwork the flour.. The cookies literally melt in your mouth. They are AMAZING,and yes, you could EASILY package these up beautifully (Amazon has all the packaging materials you need) and sell at flea markets or church bake sales. These are the best butter cookies I’ve ever had. You won’t be disappointed. I’ve made up 5 batches of dough for freezing…for the coming holiday season. Rest Well, Eric❤️

Hey brother I went to Fenger high school and graduated in ‘79 and those cookies were the boom!! I’ve always been a good but never could get the recipe quite right until your video and of course brother to brother we have to learn how to support each other so I will be encouraging everyone I know that is close to me and taste or have tasted these cookies and want the recipe to subscribe to your website. Make it even simpler by using canned chili beans (alot of those spices are already in there). First, brown your smoked sausage in oil, add the beans and simmer for at least 10 min. You can add more stuff (like onions, thyme, black pepper, hot sauce, etc), but were talking speed here...and it still is, technically, "red beans and rice". One thing's for sure: you should taste and correct seasoning before (and after) the simmer.

I’ve been looking for a school peanut butter cookie recipe for the longest. How did I miss Mr. Eric’s video on this. I loved watching his videos and got several good tips from him. I will try this recipe today i have made cps style butter cookies from various CZcams recipes over the years i went to Von Steuben M.S.C. High School and those cookies were the most memorable thing of going to school along with pizza day lol😅 some recipes have come close but none have been as good as those CPS butter cookies rest in peace my brother

I used to be one of the food service managers at Fenger H.S. in Chicago back in the mid-90s when I worked for the Board of Education, I used to fill in for managers when they took a day off. Those cookies were delicious. I make them occasionally when my grandbabies come to visit. Thank you for sharing.
