I love the southside compared to the east end when i stayed on abercrombie street, i think the area i live in Crosshill is nice govanhill is also a nice place with good shops , there is a terrible issue with litter but i believe the council should also bare a responsibility to uplift rubbish there is also the polmadie recycling centre but not many people take their household refuse there. I have lots of friends in the area who are in our basketball community and play at queens park regularly , the queens park also has lots of good free events in the summer for the community. You do get the odd knife crime report , or horror tales of child trafficking but who knows if the latter is true or just talk. The issue with gangs I believe is Albanian drug gangs and human trafficking its a huge problem for Scotland with Albanian foreign nationals making up the largest percentage of foreign nationals in scottish Prison. The fact there are SIMD1 areas right next to SIMD6 and up is mental the wealth gap is crazy - simd.scot/#/simd2020/BTTTFTT/14/-4.2555/55.8348/. My mate lives on sth annadale street with the garage that went on fire , he said it was just accidental , but who knows! haha

I lived in Govanhill Street for 4 years until last year. Never had a problem. Asians and Roma people don't drink and do drugs and don't bother anyone.

Boxed in kelvin amature boxing club for years never had a problem . Grandparents lived cathcart road for years . Never had a problem . Loads of great people from that area .

The Roma community Dont intergrate nor can they. They are involved in most of Glasgows thieft, just visit a supermarket and watch on any day. Bike theift and house break ins across Scotland’s quite villages have increased massively. Prostitution among the roma females is also big business. Ask your local police station for the figure’s. Your government dont talk about these issues. Yet they’re all housed given money and many are having large families. The streets where they are housed are dirty with rubbish with no regard. All these issues were all very apparent before opening our doors. Yet no discussion took place for the people of glasgow!? Nor was there discussions after the fact. We have a large number of notoriously criminal behaviour now permanent living in our community and we are not allowed to state the obvious conflicting ideas, like how do/will they survive in a city where they cant/wont integrate, how do they feed there families and enjoy the luxuries we take for granted? The answer has always been obvious.
