    When I use the depth map, and my subject moves a little bit I can see the mask around him drift off and then catch up to the subjects movement. What would be causing this?the talent was underexposed in my shot, so I tried relight with depth map and it works good when the talent was still. But when he moves I see the mask around him drift. Any idea? Thanks

    sorry question. using the Ipad as your clean feed seems like a great idea... if it wasn't that the resolution of the signal is pretty bad. seems like a poor streaming service. Can't absolutely work on something like this. I wonder how if I'm doing something wrong.

      @@team2films I simply noticed that “sidecar” streames the image at a lower image quality… the iPad looks fantastic when the images comes from itself , but when paired to desktop Mac and using the iPad just as a monitor , the image looks much softer and you can tell a lot of compression is going on. Either if it’s connected via usb c or wireless. The idea of using the iPad as a screen is awesome but to me “sidecar” is a huge bottle neck. Any suggestions? I parchased the iPad Pro and I’m very disappointed as of now …

    Somewhat confused. I understand an anamorphic lens produces a desqueezed image that’s narrow and wide such as 2:76 1 with or without the black bars. But watching your footage it just appears as 16:9 or thereabouts. What an I not understanding? Thanks.

    • @team2films
      @team2films Před 2 dny

      The dimensions of the final image are dependent on the squeeze factor, the size of the sensor used to capture the image and how the image is cropped. For example, if you shoot on 1.33:1 sensor (4:3) with a 1.5x lens you’ll end up with an image that’s close to 16:9 Does that help?

    You guys are goat'd for davinci guides. You guys are my go to for updates. How did you set your colors like pencils at around the 1:58 mark? I do videos for VTUBERs, and magic mask is hard to use on anime characters sometimes cause the color palette matches the background. Wondering if you have any suggestions around this. I usually have to use a lot of marks of add and subtracts to get a good mask. Also, the tracker defaults to intellitrack, but you can use the legacy tracker by adding a "Point" and removing the intellitrack. yooo referencing OTHER CZcamsRS ?? YOU GUYS ARE GREAT. Let me know if I can help support you guys in anyway! I am not a great editor but I have a different perspective just from the type of videos I make.

    • @team2films
      @team2films Před dnem

      Thanks so much, we really appreciate that and we appreciate having you in our audience. Magic Mask will be hard to use on anime because it's probably trained on live action footage. I'm sorry there's no easy solution for that with Magic Mask. The object mode will most probably be better than the person mode. @CaseyFaris and @VFXStudy are awesome channels. About to buy an iPad Pro. I have to choose between the 512gb and 1tb models. The 1tb has a faster setup with double the ram but is £400 extra. For what kind of work would the extra capability of the one terabyte model come in to play? I know this is a difficult question but some indication would be helpful.

    What would be nice is having shared nodes in your Fusion comp, the same as shared nodes on the colour page which transfer to different clips. That way you can edit parts of the comp for each clip, and have certain aspects be universal.

      hey, i got same thought too last couple months. Yes you can use adjustment clip as fusion comp too...both of them have identical output...... But, if i correctly remember, you can render in place Fusion Comp only, meanwhile the adjustment clip cannot be rendered in place alone, except you bring the media underneath to be rendered together.

Most Fusion tutorials in CZcams are very basic and this is a good example of an intermediate level, that assumes that you already know the Fusion 101.

    Please, which ASPECT RATIO did you use on time code 0:23 and on time code 0:25 ???

      Those shots are presented in 1.78:1 but were most likely shot in 3:2 open gate super 35. Hope that helps

    is there a way to slow down the zoom?

    • @team2films
      @team2films Před dnem

      The speed of the zoom is dependant on the length of the shot you apply it to. If you have a short clip and you want a 'slower zoom' then make the zoom less extreme by changing the start or end framing. Thanks for watching.

    I've tried doing this even with a ChatGPT subscription, and it fails consistently. The file has 255 subtitles (each one line) - ChatGPT stops translating every 30-60 lines (for which I can press a "Continue Generating" button), and then fails to create an SRT file. It may work if the video is very short, but ChatGPT does not seem to be capable of dealing with translation of an SRT file for a video of 15 min. I don't know why this should be more difficult, but I am assuming this is because it is trying to deal with the entire text as one continuous stream rather than be able to divide it at any point (which it could, say at the end of a sentence). It either gives an error generating a response (which is an endless loop), gives a link resulting in "file not found", or gives a link to an incomplete SRT file with titles that last only a couple of minutes.

      I’m so sorry. We’ve mostly been dealing with short videos. Any insights you can share would probably be helpful to others. Thanks for watching

    Have you ever encountered an issue in which DaVinci Resolve, for unknown reasons, burns a faint image of your computer screen (even in one instance the DaVinci screen itself) into its renderings? I imagine that it is using the video card for processing, but it seems like there's a bug in the program that allows the computer image itself to be unintentionally/unwantedly burned into the video.

    I'm new to the channel and this is only my 2nd video. I swear I can hear an Irish accent sneaking out sometimes. Am I crazy? EDIT: Excellent videos btw. Glad to be here.

    Great and detailed tutorial. But when I tried with all the guidance you gave, I get an error in the app 'connection timed out'. I tried various settings with different codecs and bit rates but no luck. Can you suggest a solution?
