3d printed conversion bits have changed the game for me

The fact the the new mk3 has none of the things that make the old one great bothers me.

This is really cool, I grabbed one of the Deathwing terminators boxes before they were removed from the store and wondered if the arms would fit with the new generic terminators, this may have convinced me to try a kitbash too.

Am building a raven guard 4th company army presently. And my "company veterans" are going to be a phobos squad since sneaky bois in a sneaky raven guard company make sense for company veterans to me. Plus i usually dont run more than 10 phobos models in my army (other than eliminators). So this video seems perfect for them! Sneakt veterans who are good at all things phobos

I highly recommend the Tzanngor box cause the shields can be made into relic/storm shields, while the chainswords or Tzanngor blades can be used as melee weapons

Imo the the best one is the Kakaphron Battle Servitors kit, it's got an unbelievably high amount of bits (including robot arms, weapons, chestplates you can place over marine ones to create a more armoured look, wires, plating for vehichles, and robot heads) I started with mechanicus as my army and 2,000 points into space marines i'm still getting so much mileage out of leftover bits to make my force look amazing. It comes as a dual kit, which is why there's so much of everything

the rocket backpack with the servo arm on the side is so cool, and perfect for a conversion I had in mind, but I need like 10 of them lmao. i do NOT have the cash to buy 5 of those kits just for one piece I need...

When you need to drill a hole make a pilot hole using the tip of your knife and spin it around until you get a small hole so your drill bit has somewhere to sit so it wont spin out I noticed it did that on the sword. Love your work

get a dremel rotary tool, it will save you many headaches using clippers and what not.

Drilling barrels? Not something I will do because I play imperial guard, but when I get a small drill I will ensure every exhaust that is flat like that

you should consider getting a really thin DoveTail saw to cut up parts, it works better than the scalpel in many cases

The new sternguard kit is, imo, an instant classic. Brilliant! Much better than the company heroes box I think.

The AK putty is best applied using a small metal spatula or something like that, and then sanding it with a sanding stick. It is more suited to filling thinner seam lines and stuff tho. Sanding sticks are way better at getting smooth surfaces over blades, mode effective and significantly easier. Great conversion and video tho!

I’ve probably bought at least three Devastator kits and vanilla Sternguard (rip). The bits those kits have are incredible. I’m a tad surprised Bladeguard wasn’t mentioned, especially for characters or officers.

This is an amazing conversion, and I loved the comment about purity seals to cover mishaps. I use them for that too lol

a dark vengeance librarian or chaos champion cloak (you only want the back half and fronof the chaos cloak, and front of the libby with details scraped off)/vangaurd vet shield/assault marine power sword and company command squad champion and techmarine (space marine rhino?) makes for a true/firstborn version of this. can make one (actually 4 in various poses) but no glue.

I also liked the old command squad box

good showcase for me the sternguard veteran set is the absolute best quick sidenote culd you tune down the volume of the music in the video i dont know if it is the same in all videos but it is very disturbing to have that loud music in the background

Those look fantastic! Well done! That was really gutsy chopping off the chest pieces and gluing on the old Blood Angel ones, mad respect.

Also, if you can find one in the wild, the old Sternguard kit is also amazing for bits, especially the shoulder pads for characters. I managed to find one at a local game store and snapped it right up.

If you want dead marines on your chaos bases, would the phobos killteam have good limp arms/hands? Looks like it but can't quite tell. Otherwise, got any suggestions?

Where would you suggest picking up the mk 3 and devastator upgrade sprues? Thinking of picking up a couple for making my Primaris Deathwatch Veterans
