Great question you are correct it is possible to completely nullify critical currently in North America version as there are not enough sources of crit rate % relative to equal sources of crit resist rate %. What you're likely missing is i run the crab in pvp decks which has a crit res rate % of 10/15/20 at the respective awakening levels. The flat crit res or crit stats may be pve only there's a chance that they do nothing in pvp but the Korean dev team did say that it is related to rate of occurrence not dmg reduction from. Crit dmg taken rate % is the reductive stat and crit dmg on weapons is actually crit damage increase rate. I should mention tho relating to cronos if you have a 10 super rares elemental ones with 50% dmg on them and multiple 9% dmg passive familiars and a maxed milky as well for an excessive amount of another dmg modifier then the cronos relative value will be much higher, arguably better than the fire or earth weapons but as you likely understand this is a multiplicative sweet spot game where we are trying to determine what modifiers have the highest relative value to us individually

@@barsark254 Thanks a bunch for taking the time to respond. I currently have an a0 overlord, a7 mystic, and a9 saintly with resources to bring them up to 6* +21. Based on my understanding of what you've said before, I should invest in either mystic or overlord (guessing mystic because of the low awakening on the overlord) but give it evasion gems as flat crit resist stats are felt to be negligible at this time, at least in the context of pvp formats. Does that sound about right?

@@hw7504 the only thing questionable is whether flat stats have any bearing in pvp at all because rate % stats seem to have all the control. Mystic prevents crit entirely if paired with crab in deck so that's a huge survivability gain

Overlord is best helmet for high high lvl cuz fams hit to hard up there but I think mystic is get

2 ways to think of it. Personally I think saintly and celestial are great but traps for matchmaking. They inflate your cp far too high relative to your attack and you'll end up in an unfavourable match up too frequently. Dmg reduction and hp I think are op while defense I think is too hard to stack compared to attack. After a certain point of attack the defense is meaningless while dmg reduction has an enormous value while if you have a plus 99 boot and chest piece for defense in some mythical world dmg reduction has little to no value to you because you mitigate so much naturally. For our version right now I say the optimal is dmg reduction from for example asterite armor and overlord helm while doing enhancements focused on gloves and head piece over defense. But like everything else the optimal can change drastically based on your targets. If I have at 3m cp a person with only 21 curses attacking me I'm not worried about dmg reduction I need defense they hit so low my flat mitigation is huge, but if annakr drops a kona bomb on me at 140k attack my defense is basically imaginary and I need that dmg reduction which you can only get from a couple pieces of gear and some familiars and food. Rimu molten kona setup gives around 40% dmg reduction at a7 to 10 if you're big whallin lol

@@barsark254 thank you for the detailed response. I think we are on the same page. Just having trouble deciding whether to stay with saintly or swap to mystic before I pump curses into them. I could always pump curses into berserkers since it's unlikely I'll get more SR copies

Sure I'll make a public after some more testing I haven't had a few hours to sit down and do 10 minute runs and 50 or so 30 second runs with another setup yet and my fire spear so long as I don't ruin it is now 46.earth fell to 26 so I won't be able to do any further comparisons with that but the small edge the cronos had in my sheet were from the skill dmg increasing gloves. Not thinking i was watering down the relative value of dmg% another 10% or so with them on and that favored the cronos by a noticable margin as I ran another set of tests after posting. Obviously this wouldn't be enough to replace the fire of they were both en 50 but it's important to recognize the relative value of % modifiers based on what you have. One reason cronos needs a big buff imo is because many skills give atk speed the daily sign in pack gives it also and its relative value is based on scarcity compared to other values

@@barsark254 I've done similar tests to yours and even now with aw5 chronos +40 I'm still not so sure if it beats aw10 fire in flat dmg. It about evens out I'd say with chronos edging out just cause of its high curse level by a bit. My fire is only +27 though but it still kind of keeps up.

It's not. What specifically are you referring to when I said to rank the 2* gowther to gold instead of the 1* with the 2* rank? The idea is that you can reset limitlessly and you should aim for max buff on everything. Ranking the silver up to gold gives u the gold gowther. So if you draw ice or Helbram buff cards you can combine and use the single gowther buff gold you have but if you draw the other gowther rank up you can still do the rank up twice. It's more for cars efficiency

Every damaging skill has a roll that checks for crit. And every skill with multi hits has multiple roll checks. They're pre determined rolls so you can count the hits you do to check different rolls until you get a crit. Example is use jers ult right away to see if the next hit is a crit. It isn't so you force close before the boss turn starts. Re enter battle use a skill that hits one time and then jer ult to check the second roll and so on. Having skills that hit multiple times is great because it let's you check beyond rolls 1 2 3 in a single turn

@@barsark254 So is it possible that you for example cannot crit even crit resetting on king boss right? Also, changing the skill orders doesnt matter is a matter of number of hits right?

@@fiblaa tracking the amount of times a skill hits is the most important and having a good mix of 1 hit 2 hit and multi hit skills also aoe roll for each target I believe so the fbk team actually has a huge potential of rolls they can check but it can only be done with damaging skills as there is no roll check on buffs etc.

@@fiblaa also yes it is possible that with your hand you are very limited in the amount of crit checks you can do and no roll you do turns out to be a crit. The idea is that instead of 1 chance you're getting the good rng setup finally and you don't want to lose all that luck you finally got in decent card order on only one crit chance. Another thing to note that is just as important in guild boss is that you have a damage range of about 95-105% of your total damage that is also rolled every time you attack. When you reset you can check multiple crits and see if one is hitting higher than another one that damage roll is also predetermined so reset allows you to not only pick a crit roll but also a high damage crit roll. Of course in other modes not expecting a crit you can also reset for that to get the highest hit possible on your ultimate

how to crit reset? i've done it in previous videos but the tldw of it all is that every damaging attack rolls for crit and they are fixed rolls as you can force close and restart the game and they will be the same. Multi hits have multiple crit rolls so you can count the number of hits an attack uses and use that to give yourself more potential roll checks and when you find a roll that crits you can use that roll for your jericho ult. What is less common information tho is that the damage done is also randomized to a degree there is roughly a 10% variance in overall damage that is rolled randomly every time you cast a skill. Especially in guild boss where you're looking to get the absolute highest score possible you can check multiple crit rolls for the highest damage and use that damage roll for your last shot.
