Driven Pheasant Shooting in England. Unfortunately it pissed it down most of the day. There was a good breeze and being the first time they've been pushed, the birds flew well. We finished with 44 in the Bag and have just had a tasty Pheasant Madras!

As the title.... Great birds... Crap Shooting! I was invited Pheasant Shooting on the Crowcombe Syndicate in Somerset, England. I had a excellent day, unfortunately my shooting was the only disappointment. We finished with 94 in the bag and finished with a boozy session at the local.

This is great. I'm from Arkansas and understand them,no problem we even say some things very similarly. My Granny and Nanny are alot like them. Especially my Gran she has alot of jokes like that. She just had her 98th birthday and my Nan is 87. Reminds me of them alot. We are of primarily English with some Irish descent and my last name comes from Devon. Grandparents are a gift,these ladies are a treasure,very cool video.
What's your last name out of interest? We don't seem to have as many records of names specific to our county as other parts
My last name is Doddridge. I remember researching years ago that it comes from that area. It's quite a uncommon name. It also has other ways of spelling some like with one D or like mine with two. Hope that helps! Have a good one.
@@A.W.D. Ah was just intrested cause I have a lot of old Devon surnames in my family with some Irish decent also. I think I've seen a variation of that one but only once or twice

And if I'm not mistaken my Granny said her granddads family came to the US in the 1850s from Ireland he was just a little boy. Most of my other family have been here since the 1700s and moving from the east coast to settling here from what I gathered. Anyway, very interesting stuff!

Very easy to understand every word that lady said. Can't say that about other parts of England. Maybe the Devonian accent influenced New England, where I come from, making it easier for me to understand. I guess the Granny in her story wasn't wearing any drawers if she managed to shoot the cat when she bent over.
