Watching this late. I occasionally quilt past my bedtime. Usually when I'm finishing up a last minute gift. I am currently reading a Jane Austen mystery, "Jane and the Unpleasantness at Scargrave Manor" by Stephanie Barron. The story line is in 1802. Not my usual reading style, I like story lines involving quilts and cozy mysteries. Thank you for your videos! I enjoy watching them!

I just finished You Will Never Be Found by Tove Alsterdal. It’s a Swedish murder mystery. It was hard to put down. A real page turner.

Just a note to American quilters - the British use slightly different techniques when making some of their blocks, so be mindful when making the Cakestand sew-along. I subscribe to a British quilting magazine, and from time to time I come across instructions that cause me to read and re-read what is being said. A couple of years ago I made a mystery block of the month quilt designed by Cakestand, and it was absolutely brilliant. It took 12 months to get the 12 blocks, and the final sewing of the blocks together was genius, as you could not pre-sew any of the blocks together until the very end.

I force myself to leave my quilting room by 8pm. Lights off and read for an hour or two. I've been reading the Mysteries of Max series. He is a cat detective along with his 3 buddies!

I rarely quilt past my bedtime. Usually reading a book at that time! Anyway, currently reading The Thread Collectors by Shaunna Edwards and Alyson Richman. It’s a really good book set in 1863 during the civil war. You should check it out or I can send this one to you when I’m done, if you’re interested.😊

Im reading Times Convert #4 in Discovery of Witches series. The first 3 books were made into a series on Netflix. Also I don't quilt past my bedtime but I do cross stitch way past my bedtime😬

I always have a book I’m reading. Just starting THE WELSH GIRL by Peter Davies. Historical novels are kinda my jam right now. Love the new shirt design! Hi Pat, I'm currently reading A Cat in the Stacks Mystery #9 - A Tale of Two Kitties. I love this series of books. I have several hang-it-dang-it quilt hangers. The design is clever for hanging quilts fast and easy. I've never seen the giant size that you received.

Yes I do quilt past my bedtime. Those are the hours I work on my EPP, after piecing and collage during the day. Time really flies.

I love your shirt. But I never quilt in the evening. I’m a 11-4:00 pm quilter. It takes me a long time to get rolling in the morning as I’m not a morning person. Usually after my morning dog walk I start sewing, break for. Lunch and then sew until I have to cook dinner. Or my husband calls me for supper.

It happens to all of us from time to time. Take a break, enjoy other things, no worries, we'll be here when you are ready to get back. Funny that you showed your Baby Jane today. I recently started back to my Jane after a long break. 75 blocks and counting. I, also, love that UFO that you just finished. The color palette is really speaking to me. Caramel....mustard, whatever, I need to make a quilt in that palette.
