I’ve had mine in for so long.. 5 years.. my mom neglected to take me back to my dentist to get my braces and expander removed so I removed my braces myself and my expander is still in my mouth but I’ve been so embarrassed to go see a dentist or even ask her to take me to see one
I like how you state that a tongue thrust doesn't contribute to an anterior open bite in your other video (with comments off for good reason) and then go on to describe exactly why a tongue thrust contributes to an anterior open bite. I'm not sure if you've looked at any of the recent literature on how impactful retraining the tongue can be in many of these cases. It's time to stop clinging to the old methods. We know better now and we always need to keep learning. Best of luck.
