Good day! We loved the food. The isn’t all-inclusive, so please factor this into the overall cost. They have an on-site Starbucks, gelato parlor, convenience store with snacks-almost like a corner store. They have a sushi bar (limited hours), a regular restaurant which was about $80 plus tip for a family of two for dinner and another restaurant at a slightly higher price point. The cost per person really depends on your order. Could be a lot less and could be a lot more. We went to a cafe across from resort and didn’t enjoy their food as much, but you can try plenty of restaurants nearby.

Just an update for you, someone left a comment about multiple kids clubs. There may be two. Look into seeing if one provides the more traditional security. I went to another resort recently and my son loved their kids club.

I’m pretty sure they had at least one. But it’s connected to a bar that you could access via the kitchen (kind of like in the movies).

Hi there! Yes, you could always go for a day. I’d hope there’s no additional cost to you and your family for a 1 year old. Also, it’s my understanding that the kids club at Sunrise or Nizuc (I forget which one) is much safer than the one at the Grand. Just an FYI. Some people don’t care for any kids clubs, but just in case you’re open to it. Enjoy! It’s a beautiful resort.

Hey Sondra! I’ll put it this way, we’ve been friends for 30 years. Other people were going to come, but backed out and she and her kids were invited to take their place. I can’t speak for all friendships, but watching her go through so many things made me feel partly responsible and therefore unhappy. Even though things went smoothly for me, it’s difficult to give this experience a good review when I see their lack of customer service as it unfolds. It’s all good when the going is good, but if there’s an issue-seems like you could be on your own.

I don’t think it was to capacity. We ate breakfast and maybe one other late night meal at the buffet. Lots of variety and pretty decent. Nothing too memorable though, but that’s okay. We also ate one dinner the main dining area. They have several. The food and service was good.

She was determined to tell me her story. Read the room. I’m sure she wanted to touch my hair, but I wasn’t open to receive. 🤣

The cabins, I was prepared for because I saw footage online. It was the customer service that could’ve made more of a difference. Accidents happen, but they didn’t want to make accommodations which would’ve made the experience a whole lot better. I saw newer ships for Royal and Carnival and I’m looking to book my next cruise. The best ship I’ve experienced, so far, has been Norwegian. I’m not opposed to trying Royal again. I hope to see you soon and thank you for providing me with more options! 🫶🏽

I did a search and there’s over 3,200 lounges at 1,560 airports around the world. I’ve been in over dozen myself for trips; mostly international. I hope this helps!

Hey Aneesha! This resort isn’t all inclusive. It’s a Hilton property, so while it does offer the memberships/timeshare opportunities, you can book it directly with them. I would utilize all of the usual suspects (Hilton, Expedia, etc.) to get the best pricing. I intend to post more videos (CZcams Shorts) with quicker reviews. They tend to do better on my channel.

This just reinforces why I’d stay in either Sunrise or Nizuc. When I looked into the Kid’s Club, The Grand was listed as one of the best to ever do it. Haha! If I go back, I would be interested in trying the supervised option. I hope you have a great time in August.

Hi SaL! Thank you so much for your detailed response. It’s so detailed that I’m suspicious of the origin. Is this the Moon Palace? Haha! The resort was enjoyable. I just didn’t feel the price difference of about $900 for me and my son was worth it. Many things you’ve mentioned could’ve been achieved in a day. I know because I convinced my extended family to join us for the day. But let’s say we did this two days. It’s still $300 for my family of two. However, the larger the family, the more it costs for day passes. That’s where it could make a big difference for you and others with more than two people. July is right around the corner. I’d love to hear your thoughts afterwards.
