I own an Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman finished in oiled santos palisander shell with Edelman top grain aniline black leather (special order). The oiled shell does require yearly maintenance or maintenance when needed to keep the wood in top condition. The maintenance of the shell is the same process that was used on the Brazilian Rosewood. I chose the oiled santos palisander version because I wanted to be a part of the chair, similar to maintaining and waxing a car. You become one with it. I also feed the leather on occasion because I have forced air gas heat in my house which is very drying. The $10,000 cost of this chair may be prohibitive to many but I couldn’t think of anything else that I could own that was so iconic. It makes me smile every day and is so amazingly comfortable. Hello, I recently bought similar chair, but i have noticed small incline tilt on the left side, the chair is not completely horizontal flat. Any idea?

This chair was fairly easy to put together, the instructions were clear and I was about to follow along with no issues at all. It took me about 20 minutes to assemble. czcams.com/users/postUgkx5hPALGI87E991DRmXev8PUFJGrrRcONS I did stuff the back of the chair with a pillow so it wouldn’t be so hollow after taking all the pieces out but that’s just a personal preference. I also added a pillow for lumbar support because although this is a great chair and is comfortable, it’s not necessarily the best if you’re sitting 10+ hrs a day wfh but in all honesty for the price, I didn’t mind at all. It looks great in my space and easily adjusts the height when needed.

So is it just environmental concerns that made them improve their fiberglass methods or are the older ones dangerous once they start to chip and wear?

Thanks for showing the guitar portion - bought a used Aeron lately and the only downside is how the arms dont go low enough for me (even with a strap) - Might pick up a Mirra for that reason!

Hi I want to break this up so it will fit through a small gap to go into another room. Does it go back together fine after disassembly?

We really needed to see Meg sit back in the Karman seat with her knees clearing the front edge of the seat. I firmly believe most 5'2" users would have the front edge of the Karman's seat dig into the backs of their knees.

As far as full mesh chairs go, I would choose this over the Aeron. The padded cushion on the seat pan & depth adjustment plus price obviously favors the Karman for me.

Narrowed my decision down to the Karman or the Haworth Soji me thinks

NIce to get perspecitve from 2 different height people. At 5' 7" I'm a little on the shorter side and was a bit worried when I saw that this didn't have seat depth adjustment. On the giveaway side of things, I would love to enter but it looks like your link in the description just re-links this video.

What height would you recommend someone be for the seat depth? I'm kinda disappointed that they don't have a depth adjustment on a $1k+ chair. I've been waiting for an all mesh chair like this from Steelcase and just assumed that it would have the depth adjustment whenever they rolled it out.

Cheap chair, tried it out and was very unimpressed with it. Funny thing is I have that exact same spec Leap.
