Ringmasters & friends - Psaltare och Lyra (Snabbt jagar stormen våra år)
We are reaching the end of the first project with this mixed ensemble that we call (for the time being) 'Ringmasters & friends'. The fifth song called 'Psaltare och Lyra' has many twists and turns but satisfyingly reaches these pillars along the way. You might be able to hear these yummy open major chords where we barbershoppers love oh so much to linger and ring.

Finally a Swedish song I can pronounce... jokes aside, I find a lot of Swedish choir music really beautiful, even managed to convince my choir to sing Jul Jul on Christmas, although we probably butchered the text...

I hope this collaboration will become a long-term one, with an album or two, maybe a North American tour (I'm in the northeast U.S.). The blend is exquisite, and the Scandinavian focus is especially intriguing. I discovered Ringmasters when you did a collaboration with Voces8, and I have followed you closely ever since.

In my humble opinion I preferred the original version,don’t get me wrong I absolutely adore orchestral arrangements but to drown out the superb harmonies breath control and everything these guys put into it for me just takes away and competes a truly jaw dropping performance of barbershop ❤❤❤❤
