My 3 ball Hammer set is old school Big Blue, Acid Raw, and BW Pearl. I will sometimes swap the BW Pearl to my plastic Hammer Vis-A-ball.

How does it compare to the black hammer 78

I have 3 Symmetrical balls and 3 Asymmetrical balls .. each set of 3 are solid, hybrid, pearl (ie: strong, mid, weak) .. seems to work out well for me.

Just got back into bowling this year and the first ball I bought was a 14 lb Hustle USA. I've since bought a couple stronger, more expensive balls but find the Hustle to still be my favorite. It's just so smooth and controllable and a great "bang for the buck" ball.

Also, don't be afraid of the 13lb and under balls with the "generic" shape cores you find in the Brunswick brands. They are plenty strong still and hook just fine. This was something I worried about on my first ball purchase and shouldn't have. 13lb radioactive Vibe is still the most continuous ball ive had, so far. Enjoying the channel, tons of useful info for people learning the game like me.

Curious as to where you would put the Motiv Raptor, being that it falls in the strong and smooth side of the Motiv ball chart?

Do the widow 3.0 or Radical Conspiracy play well on sport/tournament patterns too? I would assume these do well on longer heavy volume patterns? After my first league this summer I am itching to try a tournament out.

Another great arsenal video! I keep thinking that it would be interesting to see you build a low budget vs a high budget arsenal. As far as my 3 ball arsenal, it's currently the 3 I use most: Perfect Mindset, Theorem, and Infinity. I'm wanting to get something for the drier conditions. I was thinking about maybe the new Track Tundra Fire Blue? Or do you feel that there is something better?

I don't normally use smooth/control balls in a house shot league since its already pretty soft so i prioritize carry. So the bag is Black Widow 2.0 hybrid, Crypto Boom, Hyroad pearl.

Mine is more like medium-strong smooth, medium sharp, and weak smooth Phaze ii, Hammer Effect, Sneak Attack solid

I am a lefty, so the back ends stay sharper longer for me. I will usually stay in the solids longer and lean towards the slightly cleaner covered hybrids rather than the pearls to tame down the back end reaction. When would you lean more towards asyms over symmetric pieces? These days the asym pieces aren't just limited to the bigger, stronger cores. I'm a MOTIV user and currently they have at least one asym piece in just about every tier of their ball chart.

You should do a 9 ball arsenal, I’m probably going to end up with 9. Envy Tour, Obsession Tour, Teal rhino, IQ tour, VEBO, NightRoad, HyRoad, IQ Ruby and Tundra Fire Red will be mine. I cover everything as a 2 handed lefty imo from strong, early, smooth, length and angular

Out of all the different bowling ball manufacturers which one bowling ball would you consider to be the absolute best for the weak /smooth position

Talking old I use a amf amflite magic line hard rubber 3 dot ball I bowled 289 with it ALMOST A PERFECT GAME WITH A RUBBER BALL 😂😂😂😂😂

I still use my dad’s bowling ball sometimes. It’s a 16 lb gladiator pearl from around 08 or so. I love it. Still hooks like a pearl should. Old bowling balls absolutely get strikes

ZVL - thanks for the ballsplanations. Definitely something folks can refer to when looking for a well rounded arsenal for league and tournaments. Personally, I would only bring a variation of 3 to league.

Would a storm eternity fit into the medium/sharp category? I recently got a virtual energy blackout and the eternity was my other option
