i´ve neves thought hungary was so modern ... is this way only in capital where tourists are or there is modernity for the citizen of hungary too??
do prdele
westminster is my favourite station
@Michiel0747 Thank u :)
Jaká to je stanice na M3 ??
@KidWithTemper I think it's "Hey there Delilah"
Does anyone know what song is at 1:45 - 2:00?
Le métro de Vienne est probablement le plus moderne d'Europe mais j'avoue aussi que j'aime les métros plus anciens comme ceux de Paris ou Londres.
full of young kids and drunk tourists :/
You seem quite fascinated with the subway...you should check out the metro system in Montreal. Very quiet and beautiful art-decor in most of the stations.
Your videos of the subways is very cool! In Montreal, the subway is known as the metro like Paris and when passengers want to change metro lines corresondance in french or tranfer station in english. Our metro has 4 of these tranfer stations.
this place smells.........
Hello from America, I went to Budapest made some films go to google click on europeantourvideos this will direct you to web-site's on line viewing
no music :( lol
what is this song called
"Florenc changing metro station" - it is called an "interchange" station in English, but I understood. I have been here many times for přestup!
Can you say the accurate date of renaming?
Uh, you know, I'm not so good at Hungarian :-/
Köszönöm.
Unfortunately not. They are beeing replaced by new modern ones ( taken on the video). Original 'crazy fast' escalators from Soviet Union you can still find in some stations on B line because it's the youngest line and they are serviceable so far. The reason for slow down all new installed escalators is EU safety norm but in Prague there are many deep level stations ( up to 53 metres! ) so ride on escalators can takes about 3 minutes :-(
I think nobody except communists won't ever understand 1968 event. 1960's were first time our nation could get rid of communism since 1948 putsch. But yours and another brother state's tanks came here to interrupted this action and stayed here till 1991!!! So this is the reason we don't like Russian people. Best wishes to you.
I cann't forgot about it because I was born in 1982 and never remembered it. I don't like to guided by historical memoirs about events in which I even didn't take part. I hope that sometime your country will understand it. Good luck!
Are the escalators still as crazy fast at they were in 1997?
Yes, it can be one point of view. But don't forgot what happened on 21 August 1968 !!! Then you could gain insight into that vandalism. Btw. in south entrance hall of the Anděl station there is still name of Prague and Moscow on the wall. And if in Moscow aren't stations named after location, no wonder that name Prazhsakya is still used.
BTW, there are also no street near the metrostation "Prazhskaya" in Moscow, which names are connected with Czech Republic. But the renaming of station and vandalism mean disrespect to the Czech designers, which was made a unique station with national elements of Czech culture in the Moscow metro. Good luck!
Well, I'm not sure if the rename was due to political reasons. The area where this underground station is located was always called "Anděl" (Angel in EN) according to former inn which was demolished in order to gain a place for a building of the north entrance to this station. The name 'Moskevská' was also a bit confused with the the name of Moskevská Street which is 5 km far from this place, in Vršovice.
Thank you for "Prazhskaya". We're never renamed such stations due to political reasons.
paka znudeny
Does his bus go from London Bridge to Archway station (just wanna know where it goes XD)
memories came to my mind looking this... thanks
Why ? Tell me the reason.
easy to find my hotel love this place i allways go back
agreed
the clock tower indeed, but you don't mean the 2nd newest tube station old, do you?
excelent!
I love this corridor with green and yellow belt.
Yes, the atmosphere of this station and Czech announcement express Europian atmosphere. I hear the exterior doesn't change so much since 1901.
