Terry Kath innovative style with the Les Paul helped chart the course for another guitar phenom named Eddie Van Halen.
Date is 9th of sep monday 2024. Im an 80' s model.thiis song slaps any song ive ever heard for the past 20 years of comercial music!
Everyone keeps flaying freebird like what the fucks wrong with you!? Open youre ears! 😉
That was so damn incredible. What a band!
Sadly, they slaughtered this song.
Don't forget the brass so awsom
I love Chicago im 77 still jamming, saw them at Pine Knob
Hands down the most underrated guitarist of all time. I thought it was SRV but even Stevie gets more recognition than Terry F*****G KATH. This blew me away. Guitar playing at it's absolute best
I was lucky enough to experience the mighty CTA at the star studded Vancouver Pop Festival near Squamish B.C. in August 1969.CTA were headliners already and left an indelible impression on this fledgling musician.Their fusion of jazz, rock, soul was so different for the time but the world bought it.I saw Hendrix,Led Zepplin and Cream and I really feel only Cream came close to seeing CTA up until then for me and for a while until bands like Jethro Tull,Yes and Gentle Giant, Return to Forever and Headhunters came along. It was all great and on an upward technical trajectory but listening to this today on Sept.7th 2024 and go ,Man what a band, what A band!!! RIP Terry Kath and sorrily missed from the band are Peter Cetera and Danny Seraphine.
What a freaking guitar player! Wow!!!👍👍👍💕
“Totally Incredible”.
Have their first album Chicago Transit Authority listen to them almost everyday !
Ca,c'est un travail d'équipe !
🤩🤩🤩
La Banda de Jazz Rock más grande e importante de la Historia, no habrá otra igual.
I am m72 an d happy to be alive then, loving it and still loving it, even sober
still loving it, was 18 then, in 1970
Chicago Transit Athourity
No one’s better than Kath. Chicago was almost always good and often great but they wasted his talent.
Dead at 31. Just getting started. What a blanking shame. RIP
Thank you
What it must have been like to be there. Terry was such a monster.
Kath is the original Wookie
Dudes I've been there. WHAT Time is it. 25 or 6 to 4. Wow! I know labels are thrown around. You Guys are Sooo Underrated! If Jimmi loved you. People are Stupid .
What a nice guy. I was his HVAC technician at Deck Restaurant in Marco Island in the 2000's and he always fed me and was a super cool guy.
That had to be the last song! Nothing left! So much talent there.
Tanglewood Massachusetts was a very cool place in western Massachusetts near New York
Thought Robert Lamm should have sung more than Peter Cetera
joe walsh said terry kath was truly incredible guitarist...
What a beautiful live , purrrfect performance. I'm back lying in hot meadows, getting stoned with my peers, and istening on our portable tape player. Most of us muscians, all we did in our spare time was listen to the stunning 70's music, like this , and cycling, me on a tandem, to find a beautiful spot
Ein wundervoller progressiver Song, der einen in seinen Bann zieht , hier paßt Alles !👍❤❤❤❤❤❤
Words can't describe incredible!
Cant believe how great they were singing and musicianship. Sounds just like the album....true talent.
😍😍🤩🤩
Blowing and rhythm fits together ❤
What a band. Totally professional in every way
Danny Seraphine is better than every single rock drummer. Because he can swing, criminally underrated
Terry Kath, Robert Lahm and Peter Catera. The vocals alone make them one the greatest. What a band. America's best I think
Totally agree w/U! Gifted vocalists & songwriters.
AMAZING GUITAR PLAYING!
Terry Kath is the greatest guitar player that ever lived.
Horn section drumbs are the best saw them it Texas. Hendricks was main event.this was backup wow the best thanks guys
Zero talent today. Best music to ever be recorded. Was from 1954, through the mid 80s. 70s probably being the best.
I saw them 5 times
Great song, lots of memories!
I still miss Terry. Great singer and guitarist.
Bruce Cockburn is the greatest guitar player. Doesn't need 110 decibels to move the message.
I could only imagine the sounds of chicago echoing off The Beautiful Berkshire Mountains...
24 or 6 to 4 ....
❤awwww great memories 🎉😊
You often (perhaps too often) hear oldies like us putting down 'today's' music (i.e. that aimed at today's youth market) as uniformly worthless. My response is usually "We had ours, let them have theirs". Then I start wondering ... what are they listening to today that they'll still want to hear 30, 40, 50 years from now, and share with their kids and grandkids? The way we want to hear and share music of this calibre?
I WROTE A REPLY BUT IT DIDNT GO THROUGH IM SO PISSED i might write one again later smh
Agggg😊 A todo waipe
Wawwww 🎨
