I am not considering the MSI claw 8 over the Rog Ally X as probably the price will be around 1000 EUR or even more

If the Lunar Lake delivers, I think the Claw 8 will be the handheld to beat in the premium space. Looking at its specs, it seems like a unicorn product. The ONE thing I find disappointing is the IPS display. IPS is good but it's not OLED. Other than that, yeah, I'm pretty much sold. We'll see how it goes but if it meets my expectations, I might just abandon my OLED Deck and Legion Go.

After using xe graphics I'm hesitant to get intel again. I pass on the ultra series because there was no benchmark or gameplay until after release and looking at how 8a plus is also just behind glass makes me think drivers are still premature. Intel does update which is nice. Just feel like it takes long and by then it's time to get a new device again. Waiting on reviews and hands on take before considering because amd strix point is just around the corner. Waiting to see what both has to offer before taking a chance.

It is a year after you posted this video. First, thank you for your balanced analysis. Too many channels tout SVOL as great. They don't mention the risks involved. I have a little less than 1.5% of my portfolio in SVOL. Price appreciation has been OKAY. The dividend has been great. The risks can't be ignored, so I'm holding at <1.5% of my portfolio.

This device sounds good on paper... Up till the point you calculate the actual price with tax and all. In my case the 32gb ram version is pretty close to $2k. At this price I can buy a lenovo or asus laptop with oled screen and dedicated gpu. Or a legion go, 16 inch portable oled monitor and have enough change for a switch and a few games. So it seems its doa simply due to its price...

Great laptop for non-gamers or console gamers, but the "Recall" software feature will keep me away from it. I'll just have to stick with the Ryzen & Intel Chip laptops until that feature goes away.

The bigger issue for the X1 is if there's no retail or domestic purchase option, it will not do well.

A cheaper legion go I think is the exact opposite of what the consumers were looking forward to my the legion go. Not impressed most definitely will not buy.

The tablet display size, is quite large though it is slightly lower than my m1 iPad at 11 inches.
